I sleep from 8 pm- 5 am.
Q:How much would someone have to pay you to run around the block naked? In the middle of the day.

nothing (at least not any money anyway)

I would in exchange for something I like

a bottle of doctor pepper, for example

I'd do anything for doctor pepper (bold statement, but absolutely true)

anything for KFC, too

question:
if you had children, and they asked you to tell you a story about when you were a child and what it was like, what would you tell them?

The story we tell my Nephew is when I fell into a local pond and my Granda (his Great Granda) had to jump in and save me. I was only 7 and cried that I had "fishes wee wees on me"

Question:

How do you respond to others in a group of people with MH issues. I mean you go to a group and do you feel like you belong, don't belong or are above these other people?

*I'll be interested in the answer as I'm struggling with my self belief in the group I joined last week*

awww that story is cute laura!

reminds of us the time we were 8 and went rafting, fell off the raft in to the river- and got all our clothes soaked!

then to make things worse, they wanted to have a picnic on the river bank and we had to have it naked.

because the clothes were soaked

hahahahaha

—the first group I went to I felt like I didn’t belong the second group I tried has been great and I do feel like I belong and can open up.

Q. How often do you go to group therapy?

Weekly.

I feel the same way—1st group the people were young and I didn’t relate well.

This group I go to now is more mature. I feel comfortable even though there are only two other bipolar people.

How do you like group therapy?

Generally hate group therapy but I have only been to ones run by occupational therapists and they seem mostly clueless and running from script. Maybe if I went to one run by a seasoned mental health profession I would like it better. the last group I went to I felt I could run it better than them and I have no credentials.

What is you worst T or pdoc experience?

I spent Easter with my sister's family. My nieces had a very good time.

Have you ever supplemented therapy with group therapy, art therapy, hippotherapy etc?

None in real life. I've made a few when IP but I'm usually annoyingly manic IP and nobody really wants to keep in touch after that.

Do you have to take meds for side effects of psych meds?

I take Imodium twice a week as my gut gets upset from my meds. That being said my gut also gets upset with anxiety. So who knows? I’d more than likely need the Imodium even without psych meds.

Q. Do you notice a sharp change in mood at sunset?

No. Only at night when the moon is out. I'm her child.

How many times you pee during the night.

In my youth way too much. Hardly ever over the past 20 years.

Do you find living or visiting coastal areas soothing?

Yes! It would be great to live there someday (if/when I have the money).

Do you prefer wearing comfy clothes and staying at home, or spending time dressing up/ going out?

I spent time getting a frightened stray cat comfortable and took her in. It took several weeks of feeding. We are keeping her!

What are your favorite sub forums on PC?

Bipolar (obviously) and I read and don't write on a number of others.

Are you able to fall asleep without meds for even one night?
