what gives me peace is the end.

what gives me peace, is knowing that even though my life is really bad, I am not emortal. their is an end to it

it really comforts me- and the feeling of being emortal is something i've struggled with in the past too.

also the lion king. i have seen that movie so many times. I love it, it makes me feel at peace.

question:

do you remember your first post on these forums?

Q. What's a quirky thing you'd like to do but refrain because you know others would think it weird?

go to a shop or a cafe, wearing a mask, and when people come in, jump out my hiding place and go boo!

people would think... I thought this was a cafe?. not a haunted house

and i'd do it not at halloween

other one is throw chocolate in to a river like the sceen in charlie and the chocolate factory

would love to see what happens

and thirdly, change my name to davy jones

weird because you certainly don't get girls called davy jone
my question is:

have you ever thought about doing something like changing your name, or plastic surgery, something that will stick with you the rest of your life

Question: How do you handle rejection? I mean rejection from a mental health professional?

how do i...... handle it?

I usually think along the lines of, well, I guess i've scared them off, and it makes me feel very depressed- especially when they tell me, well, we specialise in such and such a disorder, and I end up thinking am I really that bad?. really?

their have been times where they've rejected me and i've constantly contacted them asking for help.

I guess eventually, though it's hard, you just have to accept that they arn't the right person for you and move on.

question

how often do you order takeout meals? (if at all?)

I talk to myself when I am completing very frustrating tasks, where basically, I am yelling out loud.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

no but I guess I should probably find that out

Do you ever have this feeling of fatigue deep beneath your eyes...like one step into your inner layer...but everything else about you is energized?

I would love to go to Japan again.

What would it feel like if you woke up one morning and that there was a breaking news story that all of our delusions are actually real and that no one is in fact crazy? Just some of us have a better mental wifi connection?

I would straight up believe it right away. I believe it half the time anyway

do you think the "mad genius" bit is over rated and a fallacy.

A: Nightmares don't affect me much. Every time I wake up in depression I think I'm in a nightmare and try to wake up again.

Q: How long have you been suffering from mental health issues?

30 or so, not diagnosed until I was 50.

Regarding behavior, habits, or some such, what is your primary BP challenge?

Staying away from harmful situations when manic and repeating the same old patterns, no matter how many times I tell myself that I am going to stop. Maintaining relationships tends to be a struggle too, and I am all alone now with fear of getting involved with someone new while dealing with all of this.

Are you able to easily "mask" how you are feeling around others?

no.

and I gave up trying years ago.

if people don't like how i'm feeling, well, they can suck it up.

in the words of EA, "I don't change just to suit your vision"

that's it, and that's how it's going to be.

question:

with the acception of proffessionals, who is your strongest supporter? (the person in real life who just gets it)
Thanks for this!

Currently I see my Community Worker weekly. I volunteer with 2 organisations weekly (1 x 3 hours a week and 1 x 1 hour a week). Other than that I'm left to my own devices. I sleep a lot cause that's the only motivation I seem to have. I'm in the midst of coming out of a depression but with no motivation I'm struggling big time. I see my family A LOT gets a bit boring living alone

Question: What's the best tip or advice you have been given re your mental health?
