I am grateful for Christmas decorations. We started putting everything out and it is always fun to go through the items and share memories. I am also in love with the warm glow of the Christmas tree.

I’m grateful I was able to get 5 hours of sleep even if the quality was poor. Also very grateful that I have been blessed with such wonderful people in my life that will take time to listen when I’m struggling to figure things out

I'm grateful for this thread because just looking at the title brought a smile to my face! In fact, I'm still smiling now, so thank you! (I had been at my computer for hours on end, unable to sleep tonight, so the warmth of the genuine smile on my face makes me feel good!)

Thanks so much! We are having a good week, but our dog is injured and in need of a surgery with an 8-12 week recovery time. She has to be crated while she heals. She's a member of the family, so this is all quite sad for us. We are laughing and smiling through it though.

How was the beach today? The pic from yesterday was amazing! Enjoy the special time with H. I know you value it.

I am grateful for my family and friends. They are all so special to me. I appreciate each of them.

I am also grateful to have just finished a project I was working on to decorate the tree in our foyer. I collect ornaments and have a few hundred. It took me a couple of days on and off to complete everything. Whew!

Lots of people in the Christmas spirit! Enjoy! When I get home from my vacation, I'll make the two remaining Christmas cookies for my blog, but our tree generally doesn't go up until a few days before Christmas. That's our tradition. A wreath on the door and maybe a poinsettia a little earlier. Actually, I do plan to make some of one of the cookies look like Christmas trees.

Our vacation is so relaxing! The weather is beautiful. I couldn't ask for more. Well, maybe it would be nice if the cawing crow vacated the premises.

I am grateful that I am alive. I have things that I can do when I am bored. I am grateful that I have a place to live, and good food to eat. I have a good but hyper puppy. She will grow out of it. I am grateful I have a good daughter. My meds seem to be working., most of the time. Oh yes, I am grateful that I have somewhere to go for Thanksgiving!

I am grateful that I had a difficult time deciding on just one thing to post this morning. I am grateful for so many things and I feel incredibly blessed.

Thank you to everyone who contributes to this thread. It has been a positive experience for me to read all of the varied and beautiful posts of gratitude each day. It helps to remind me to align myself positively even when there are things that aren't going well.

Love and appreciation to you all. Happy Thanksgiving!

Due to Gods grace, most of my illnesses have been reduced as now I'm able to stop or reduce the dosage of few medications.

I have previously thought my health issues were primarily caused due to my genetics, but I now have realized that my own ego has also caused to increase the severity of my health issues (though i'm also a sensitive person in nature) until now. Meditation helped me see the things as they're, and I'm grateful to my friends and family for supporting me all this time.

I am grateful for my parents. They are divorced and have lived in different states for years. My mom recently moved back to where my dad, my older brother and I live. We all celebrated Thanksgiving together yesterday. They were very kind to each other and there were zero moments of discomfort. My mom wanted to take family pictures at the end of the day. She called out to my dad and told him to join us. She said 'we built all of this together, you're as much a part of this as I am'. I thought that was cool of her.

My parents split rather suddenly after 30+ years of marriage when my mom had a manic psychotic breakdown. She made a lot of choices at that time that did a lot of damage. Many of those wounds have been healed a little recentlty. Yesterday was a part of that process. I am grateful for change even when it takes over 15 years to arrive.

I need to practice gratitude more often. I have a bipolar rage/anger issue nearly constantly right now, and maybe it will quell the demon.

Grateful for my animals, my dog, my cat, and my two bearded dragons. They help keep my busy, and somewhat more grounded than I would be otherwise. They make me laugh, and when I'm crying, they hug me in the way they know how.

My son actually called me yesterday, and I'm super grateful for the phone call that he took time out of his busy holiday to make. I'm glad he was thinking of me.

And, of course, I'm thankful I have a job that puts a roof over my head, pays the bills, and gives me a smidgen extra to put towards other things I need/want. This job is causing me a lot of anxiety, but I am still very grateful for it.

I'm grateful that my nose/chest cold isn't as bad today as it was yesterday and the day before.

I'm grateful that when I called my father this morning, he sounded good and was excited that his cousin and sister-in-law are coming to visit him this afternoon. That cousin is such a dear person!

I'm happy that I had my psychiatrist appointment delayed from today to Monday morning. He offered to have a phone session today, but I don't like the phone session idea AT ALL! I have had phone sessions with past therapists, but that was different, and I didn't like them either.
