I fully understand the need to sleep indoors.. it would be fun to take a payday and just have fun ! Ahhhh then I unload my Amazon shopping cart and decide I gotta pay the power bill so my well will give me water.

Life takes all the fun outta life sometimes lol

I'm at the part of my elimination diet where the problem foods are going to pop up. I'm now on day 3 of wheat so that's clear, as I knew it would be. My mom was really worried about it for some reason but it's been fine. Next up is either peanuts/peanut butter or dairy. I think that probably I'll do peanuts first as milk is the most likely to react and might as well be saved for last, especially as I need to approach it in layers, yogurt, cheese, lactaid, real milk, etc.

All I know for sure is that tuna sandwiches taste amazing after 2 months of limited flavors.

I have a great recipe of my grandmother's.

I will sleep, hopefully, but I stupidly forgot to take my medications until just now (9 pm). That means I won't fall asleep until very late. Usually I take them at 7 pm. My pill boxes downstairs are empty. I had to go upstairs to take them. I didn't remember them because I got sidetracked. I need to take a prn Ativan. My heart is racing.

Thanks ! I truly need sleep and yeah my friend is a bit of a mess , I’m worried.

I hope that Ativan kicks in and lets you fall asleep sooner. If you lack sleep can you nap after your husband is out the door to work tomorrow??

I dunno how anyone can dislike Sloppy Joe’s LOL !

You deserve a gold medal for going through this long drawn out process..

I wonder what the % of people who are told they need to do this actuality CAN do it all and no cheating ????

You rock!

I'm still useing my checks with my Texas address. I write so few I can't justify the cost. Besides these are pretty. Ha ha yeah keeping that little book balenced was a pain. I always sprang from the duplicate checks cause then I'd have a copy. I was forever "forgetting" ( read in a hurry) to write down checks. Mum is one of the few people left who use checks at stores. I feel bad for whoever is behind her she's so slow.

Ooooooo duplicates !!! It was a gift from the heavens lol

Around this little town lots of elderly folks still want to write out the full checks, one cashier was telling this poor old fella she didn’t know they could accept a paper check at Hellmart

Oh, mum hates hellmart. They put her check though a machine and give it back to her, confuses her. But it's practically the only store left here that has anything besides food. No clothing stores, home stores hardware stores, they all closed. Used to have a target and that closed too. It's hellmart or drive an hour.

Yeah same here... I get so frustrated when these snotty teenagers get all annoyed that some lil old woman wants to write a check. One cashier was just getting all kinds of huffy one day... I said hey YOU ??? your getting minimum wage whether you check out 8 people an hour or 57 , calm down and enjoy the break ... and your parents must suck because you have zero respect. I don’t think she understood the insult, sad

Haven’t been around for a while but I’ve been very stable for several weeks after the addition of Trintellix. Other than that, I’ve just been taking care of my house and kiddos. I’m looking into whether or not I can get SSDI. Always thought I couldn’t but my sister was researching it a bit more and thinks it may be possible. So we’ll see about that. Miss you guys!

It's good to hear your doing better. Go for it! It's a lot of paper work but you should check it out.

I'm so unhappy with my hobby, Scrabble. It's so unpleasant. It's just slightly better than doing nothing. Boredom could drive me to things that are unhealthy tho. I just wish i didn't dislike it so much. I've been playing for 20 years. It's not like i'm going to change horses now. Please don't suggest other hobbies as i have tried over 30 and the only other things i like a bit are knitting and listening to music.

I feel i need to pass the time but is it any solution to pass it in an unpleasant way? I heard about some workers who were so bored at their jobs that they photocopied phone books. Scrabble's like that for me. Scrabble's just a menial meaningless miserable activity.

Or perhaps it's just the depression talking and i would not enjoy anything at all?

whatever-I feel exactly the same way! I mean, I don't even really know what my hobby is right now. I was going to say crochet, but I do get pleasure out of this current project, but i haven't done it but 2 or 3 times in a month. i guess walking is a sort of hobby and that is so freaking boring...but i do feel better after. Yeah, I'm not really making a strong case for agreeing with you, but trust me, I get it! I guess I do my housecleaning "chores" to pass the time, sometimes those aren't fun, but it's something to do to avoid the harmful boredom passing activities...although I suppose I might need a new or more hobbies, because my "ocd" tics are still there even when I am doing something...ok, well I guess I can't really do them when I'm knitting or say, washing dishes, but I can while I walk or read...hope this makes sense! Hugs

Well you can pass time walking your dog? Brush your dog , play with your dog.

Sometimes it’s fine to not try and find new hobbies.

Next week you will probably love scrabble again

Still IP. Will be allowed to go home on Thurs (day after tomorrow) after my dr has spoken to my husband and my husband has confirmed that he thinks I’m well enough to go home.
I’m really looking forward to going home. I’m feeling like I’m the only sane one in this scary madhouse.

Most likely. It's happened before when I've stopped it in the past. I just get really angry and have a bad temper. Sometimes it gets to the point where I throw and kick things -- although I do not get violent with people (anymore).

I am at work right now and just want to punch something.

Hi Blue,

I am sorry you are going through this.

I think this type of agitation has gotten you into some trouble in the past.
Please be very careful. If you need to isolate in order to be safe, do it, but have your phone with you?

Consider calling pdoc for help.

We are here for you!
Love to you!

Yeah, I can isolate in a meeting room if need be. Absolute worst case, I can leave work (but I really, REALLY don't want to do that).

I have some meetings today that I need to be at, so I am trying to find ways to relax, I guess. Not much is helping, though... Getting really frustrated with this.

Blue, In giving this a little more thought, I'm thinking you should seriously consider going home, making sure you preserve your job.

Is there an option for directing/attending your meetings from home? This way, you could excuse yourself if need be?

I have suggestions for you in your thread.

Please be VERY CAREFUL.

Much Love and Concern
