I'm exhausted. Still no panic attack but I think its bc I've been taking extra zyprexa. I might ask to be put on this dose. I will probably gain even more weight. But I'm desperate...

Again thanks for the support.
Prayers.

Woke up at three to pee. Too scared about Covid to fall back asleep. So scared for the president. Age, weight. Super scared. Praying.

Not sure if I should take this as written?

I'm praying to God about him, too. "Please, God, have mercy on us and let this chaos end sooner than later."

Got my box to the post office. Since the grandkids can’t go trick or treat this year I sent them a Halloween care package. They both got backpacks with treats and fun stuff. Stickers, a bunch of creepy creatures, cautioning tape they can use to mark off their rooms, wax lips and other candy. Masks. I hope they like em. Now I got to think what to send for thanksgiving cause yeah, not seeing them then either. They both go to school and activities and mum is 92 with health problems. So we stay away.
How lovely! A really nice post.

As usual, since my injuries, I woke up in pain. It still eases during the day, though, after an Aleve and a Voltaren or Arnica rub. I do plan to take today a bit easier, but will inevitably be busy.

Yesterday we sold our mini fridge for good money, but unfortunately the buyer accidentally left its fruit/veggie drawer behind. I called them about that. I hope they return for it. Also, yesterday a man came with his teenage son and 10 year old daughter for a desk I offered for free. I also threw in an accompanying chair, a brand new adult coloring book and colored pencils, several Christmas items, and a Belgian waffle maker. I was most sad to part with the latter, but we can't bring some electrical appliances. They were mighty happy! As a bonus to me, the man fell in love with our Ficus tree we want to sell. He said he'd come today for it, but that costs some money. The tree itself is worth over $100 and the large decorative ceramic pot goes for $70+. He offered $40 total for the two and I accepted. I originally posted it for $25. He doesn't need to know that.

Today a man is coming for our old blue desk, for free. Sunday a man will buy our vintage radio. Hubby just posted my car for sale, as well as Hummel figurines. I also made appointment in Philly on the 26th to sell my grandfather's guitar. We have some other stuff to sell, but lesser value. At least the ball is rolling!

As I mentioned, I went to the eye doctor yesterday. Knowledge is power! First, the “boatload of medications” I’m on is making my eyes bone dry. Second, they are impacting my vision. It’s true that I have severe myopia but the medications don’t help. He won’t do surgery because the interaction of the medications would cause a poor outcome. For right now they can make better glasses and they have special contacts. Later on, they can do surgery to replace the human lens in my eyes.

My dentist said two days before that the medications were causing dry mouth.

I’m guilty of taking the medications that my psychiatric practitioners prescribe without doing proper research on side effects and what it’s doing to my body. I plan to be more diligent in the future.

I feel better know that I know what is going on.

Wow, that is major progress. I am sure it is a relief to lighten the load in advance of the big move. What date are you targeting?

I do hope you're able to slow down a bit to recover a day. The body needs what it needs and the physical aspects can affect the mental and emotional of left unchecked. I hope you heal very soon!

Yeah, no, I am very frightened for him. And for us. Mother nature can be a quite ruthless teacher of great scientific truths. Super worried and kinda anxious, to be honest. First anxiety since I started Trilafon.

I understand the concern. Just try to balance it as best you can. It is in no way in your control, but there are many many things you can control. Choosing how much worry to give this is one of those things. Allowing this to destabilize you does not add value. Pray on it and give it to God.

I joined SMART Recovery yesterday.
Possible trigger:

My pdoc is giving up on me and turning me over to another provider within the same mental health center. I guess she really did not like how our last phone appointment went. She's the second pdoc at this place to pass me on to someone else and the fourth (edit: fifth if you count IOP) pdoc to completely abandon me within the past 5 years. F'n fed up with this ****.

Yay! SMART Recovery is great! Connect. Stay after it.

These are hard hours and days. Ask for support. Stay connected to other humans. Breathe. Meditate. Pray. Walk. Whatever. Don't use. You will make it. One hour at a time. Do not let your disease kill you. You can push through this crap and onto the light. It will be awesome.

I didn’t sleep that well last night because I can’t take the melatonin anymore. I was sleeping fine for days and now that I can’t take it for medical reasons I can’t sleep. That seems messed up. I finally fell asleep around 3 in the morning. I didn’t have my phone with me at all last night since it wasn’t charged so I didn’t hear the news until 8:30 this morning People are being so rude online. I don’t wish Covid on anyone. Although I’m not surprised. I went for my own covid test this morning at the hospital. It was easy and fairly painless. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. I’ll get my results in 24 hours but if I don’t hear anything then no news is good news.

Daonnachd, I am thinking of you and your family frequently...hoping, praying, keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm guessing the fire must be worse today, or there's another one. Awoke to a red son and smokey air. We were given an evacuation order yesterday, but it was quickly rescinded for whatever reason. I have 5 cats and no way to transport them, so I will not evacuate and leave them. I suspect we were being told to evac because of the terrible air quality - but evac to where? No place is any better.
