Lots......my washer/dryer, mattress and car all come to mind.

Do you wear make-up regularly?

Lord of the Rings: Misty Mountains

You've magically become a piano God(ess). What style do you play?

I'd like to play show tunes and sing along (hopefully the magic improves my singing voice too!)

What is one thing on your bucket list?

I’ve traveled both quite a bit. I prefer Europe.

What is the worst place you’ve traveled to?

Certain parts of the US, which I won't get specific about. And I've traveled pretty widely. I think when it's part of your own country it hurts more.

What is your most frequent physical ailment/discomfort?

My lower back. I’ve had fusion surgery and went into a depression afterwards so didn’t do the PT I was supposed to do. I’m not in constant pain anymore, just when I walk much or have to stand for too long.

What’s the next place on your travel bucket list and why?

Oh wow Chicago is a nice place! Things are so different here in the u.s. with respect to covid, it's so relaxed here.

We visited the Bean, went on a river cruise and saw all the great architecture. We also got deep dish pizza - it was amazing, we have enough for tomorrow's lunch too!

I'm visiting Chicago for a wedding which is tomorrow. Lots of events leading up to the wedding so we're busy. It's nice being together as a family.

My pdoc increased my Prozac to 60,mg. No difference yet - it has only been a week. I'm hoping something good will come of it. This anxiety is still quite high.

@Scooter9 I think you maybe posted on this thread when you meant to post on the check-in? We're happy to have you post here, I just think you maybe meant to post on the other thread. I'm glad Chicago has been a good trip. I want to go there sometime myself.

Q: What was your favorite place to travel to or live in?
A:The Outer Banks are always a favorite place to visit. It's been a while since I've been there thanks to COVID

Q: How many times have you moved in your life?

I've moved at least 15 times - one of the consequences of having a parent that changed jobs often. I just moved back "home" after a year in the south.

Q: If you could be cast as an Extra on any TV show - what show would you want to be cast in?

Anything Star Trek! I'd love to be the redshirt of the week who the alien or monster gets!

When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?

An mother/astronaut/writer/teacher. I guess I planned to be busy.....I went through a period as a 5th grader where I worked hard to get over my fear of heights because I knew astronauts can't have that fear when they walk the catwalk to the shuttle (or whatever it is now).

Did you ever try to write a book? Did you ever succeed?

I did a lot of writing when I was younger (college & after). There's a part of me that thinks writing a book would be a real bummer these days...who reads books? Folks are busy looking at their phones.

If you had to be transformed into an insect, what bug would you be? Explain...

I think I’d like to be a walking stick. I found one once up north and they are so cool. They just keep to themselves and don’t do damage and the blend in so well they go unnoticed

What’s your favorite quote from a tv show or book?

My signature, the Litany Against Fear. Dune has so many great quotes, but that one has stuck with me.

Same question.

It's been days and I've not come up with one (and I suppose nobody else has either since nobody has posted), so I'm going to say "no good ideas". I think I take things in larger chunks than just a page or a chapter.

Do you participate in other forums or support groups online for whatever reason?

I am also a somewhat frequent participant at Reddit.com's Cooking subreddit.

What are some things you do to get your mind away from anxious thoughts?

Fitting question given my day today.
The big one is sleep. If I can get a good night's sleep (or at least a nap), I find my anxiety lifts to a more bearable level. Otherwise, I try to find a puzzle or problem to solve or just generally anything that exercises enough of my brainpower to distract from my intrusive thoughts. At least for a while.

If you had to choose, Cherry Coke or Cherry Pepsi?

I love cherry coke but haven't had it in 15 years because I gave up caffeine and it only comes in a caffeinated form.

Do you like sparkling water?

I like sanpellegrino but not much of a fan of the new flavored waters that come in cans.

What’s your favorite sparkling water?

I tried sparkling water a few times, but I never could get into it.

Imagine you're a singer/songwriter/musician. What type of music are you performing? If you already do sing, write or play music, same question.

I'd go with jazz because I like to play the trombone. I don't necessarily love jazz but I do love trombone.

What is the last movie you saw in a theater?
