Especially in these times. But yeah I'll probably just have a sandwhich and try to get to sleep semi early.

I'm sorry! Hope you feel better soon!

Well, we're almost one week into May and no signs of hypomania. I'm mildly depressed but still grateful to be calm and reasonable.

Do you have to fight the hypomania when you're really into a project? I've been fighting the hypo! Had to take seroquel to sleep last night, on top of my loxapine, which normally makes me tired. Wanted to write all night long! I also just finished a short story, which is horror.

Do you write short fiction too?

I also have two books that are self-published. Do you have any? Would love to read some of your work!

Wow, two books is great! I do write short fiction as well and have sold some stories. I will PM you the links for the publications.

Yeah if I start feeling hyper and sleeping less, I take clonazepam in the evenings to make myself sleep (I'm on a low dose of lithium and lamotrigine too).

THC is legal but idk what it’s all about. I’ve only smoked twice in my life and I didn’t enjoy it. I don’t really want to get high but I know it’s possible to just get a little bit without getting high. I gotta talk to my coworker, there’s a dispensary where she lives and she knows a lot about it.

Yeah if you've only done it twice you probably haven't really experienced the good side of it. I had to vape several times to get the "high" feeling. But I only take 2-4 mg now, of a sublingual spray, so that's not enough to get high but it seems to block the depression which is really nice.

So I have named my new bicycle - Blueberry! Here's another picture of her, just because:

I couldn't sleep last night because the "ring of fire" was itching so much. I had to take melatonin and clonazepam.

Luckily this morning the itching is gone and it's just soreness. So I won't be riding Blueberry today, but will try again Sunday or Monday.

I'm on so many meds it's ridiculous! Lol. Lamictal, gabbies, diazepam, trazodone, prazosin, propranolol, Cymbalta, seroquel, loxapine. I think that's all of them. I'm surprised I can even write a sentence! Haha.

My short fiction has been published before too, but I haven't sold a short story in years because I hadn't been writing anything at all, between depression and anxiety and psychosis. I've had a rough past ten years. I'm submitting the short story I just completed to magazines. I'm determined to get it published somewhere!

Wow, that’s quite the trip. When I went to the mall on the north end of Austin tx it was only one bus but it took nearly two hours. I could shave time off by getting off on one of the express stops and taking the express the rest of the way. But wow. 4 busses plus trains and cabs!

Funny! 😂 The bus has to stop practically every block, there’s people getting on and off and then there’s the stop lights. By car it only took 30 or 40 minutes depending on traffic. The traffic was horrendous. That is one thing I do not miss about Texas.

Well, I was sadly unable to go to either the concert or the drive-in courtesy of a lovely bout of food poisoning. All the typical GI symptoms with enough dehydration that I nearly passed out on several occasions. Definitely taking precautions: taking leftover Zofran if the nausea gets too bad, pain relievers, taking my time getting back into eating and plenty of water and sports drinks. Hopefully I'll be feeling better enough to spend Sunday with my mom!
