Thanks @Nammu. I'm sure if the clozaril can't go up the seroquel can. I just want something to change. I also hope my pdoc sees the lab soon. Last time I knew my level about 10 days before she did.

I'm so stressed tonight I can't stop snacking. Not good.

I got my flu shot today and am a little feverish and achy. So I have a pretty good idea tomorrow is going to be a hang out and do little day. Which is fine. Maybe with PRNs I'll actually rest.

I know I need to distract myself. It's been a long time since I was mixed but I do remember that.

I have a ladybug in my room flying around. It's really annoying me. I can't reach it to put it out and I can't smush it because it releases stink that also attracts more ladybugs.

Can you call the DR when you get the results so they can see them and help sooner.

Yes but she's super busy and so I like to give her a few days if it's not urgent. I call there desperately needing help with my clozapine several times per month and that feels like enough. So I let it for a few days then will MyChart message her. This time the timing will mean I may not hear from her until Monday or Tuesday. But if I get worse I'll definitely contact her.

Not much to report on tonight. I'm not a huge fan of my Wednesday teaching schedule so am always a little bummed about that Tuesday evenings. I'm almost a week into this new birth control and, so far, my mood is responding well. It seems to be giving me acne though but, as annoying as that is, I'll take acne over monthly mood episodes.

I took the sleep meds. I hate them I feel like I can't breathe but I'm breathing fine. Like a panic attack without the ripping apart of my chest bone. I know I'm not going to die but it feels like if I go to sleep I won't wake up and I'm surprisingly not okay with that.

I just had an amazing gp visit. She’s given me blood pressure meds for the anxiety. It will stop the shaking and lower my heart rate. Bonus is I can take it 3x a day. She’s also given me contrave for appetite suppressant. It’s normally $100 a pack but she had free samples. In exchange I must go see a dietitian. Ughhhh. It’s a small price to pay. Right let me go google Contrave.

She's awesome. I hope she never retires. Not realistic I know but that's my hope anyway.

So now I see Contrave in Australia is contra indicated with bipolar because it has the same ingredient as Wellbutrin. I’m already on an antidepressant so it can’t hurt, right? My gp would have weighed up the pros and cons because she knows I’m bipolar.

@Crazy Hitch: Everybody's different, but i am really sensitive to Wellbutrin. Last time i took it i spent $8000 in three months mostly on online shopping of shoes. Channeling my Inner Imelda Marcos, i guess!

Good morning, slept well. Going to my apartment building's nutrition class later this afternoon, there's a nutritionist coming to do it. Looking forward to that.

Not much else going on today. Just gonna paint, practice violin and cook later.

Good morning. I’m up and half dressed. Today I gotta move all my furniture to the far wall so the electric company can come in and move the fire alarm a few feet. It’s hard wired to the building, so they have to run wires along the ceiling. Then. They are also disabling the kitchen vents so they can sweep them. Uhhhh, what a pain. Fortunately for me all I have to move is two chairs and two end tables. Some people have their tv set up along that wall. Ooo I’d better get going.

@BeyondtheRainbow I HATE mixed! It is the worst. I am glad you can contact your pdoc whenever you need. My pdoc is that way too though he doesn't have mychart. But you can call the office when it's open and he has an emergency cell phone to call after hours, weekends, holidays. If he ever retires, I don't know what I'll do!

@JaneOnceMore - Eek! $8000 in 3 months is an awful bill to pay! I overspend when I'm manic which is one of the major reasons H gets out of sorts if I start skimping on my Seroquel & Lamictal.

I slept pretty decently although my cat Pecan started walking all over me starting around 4 AM, wanting me to get up and feed her. I did pilates this morning instead of walking because it was very foggy out. I plan to go early voting later today. Not that my vote for president means much in Texas, but it would be great if my vote helps get our crazy senator out of office!

So I talked to my dad. He wanted to know how much longer v's transition would be I tried explaining it's a life long thing. He interrupted me and was like no when is she getting all her surgeries. Because they will be taking trans health care away. I explained we're pretty safe in our state as there are tons of social programs that aren't federally run here but that it'll be a 3 year minimum. He asked if it can be rushed and I explained it shouldn't be rushed because they're very serious and dangerous surgeries. He said it wouldn't be covered by Medicaid by then. I told him we would have to pay for private insurance then. He's sure private insurance won't cover it either. I'm like well then we better hope this election goes right. Then he launched in about if the migrates take all the assistance there won't be enough for Americans that need it after that rant and then there will be no Medicaid or SSI. I told him he was wrong on so many levels with his statement and pointed out the pp loan forgiveness but dropped it. I wanted to tell him he betrayed his granddaughter. I wanted to tell him his guilt was valid. That his racism hurt his whole family. He called for forgiveness. I hung up with him sick to my stomach because I know he and Mom voted against our survival.

we ran away from Florida because of these policies. I don't understand every single one of his children are on assistance. He financially supports 2 out of the 3 of us. I'm supported by the government and he votes to take it all away.

he's 74 how do I fix this relationship before it's to late? I'm so ****ing mad.

What your dad said was awful. That would really stress me out. Just reading it stresses me out. This whole election stresses me out! I'd be mad too. I'm sorry he said that and believes what he does.

The study was super easy. It took almost an hour but it was just me and the lady doing the test. It was just a bunch of health questions and a couple nasal swabs and I did a blood test and got an extra $50. So I got a $150 Visa gift card when I finished.

I still am testing postive for covid although I don't feel as bad as before. Like I took a good shower this morning and I've been out of my room all day. I'm mainly just congested and a bit worn out. But I'm not coughing or sneezing anymore.

They thanked me for coming in while I was sick and asked what the first thing I was going to do was when I felt better. They were really nice.

I also tried the new Wicked drinks from Starbucks this morning.

My anxiety is a lot better. I really did think this was going to be some shady **** even though it was literally in my doctors building and not in some back lot of a Walmart.

I used to get my mammograms and retina exam there, in some big ol' bus!

Im glad it worked out so well! I thought it was gonna be just a blood test. Im glad they paid you more for that.

I was once asked to do a dna test at the psych center, then they wrote back to me and asked me to retake it, but i just ignored it - all that spitting was just too freaking GROSS. Who can spit for 30 minutes???!!!

So my meds have not been filled yet because they haven't been approved by insurance. So the earliest I get them will be Monday. So I called the psychosis clinic and they picked up. They will review my case Friday and tell me Monday their decision.
