Watching a documentary on the Manson story to get ready to watch Once Upon a Time in Hollywood - my guy has gotten me so interested in things about California these past few years. I only know of east coast things like the Zodiac Killer, Son of Sam, and stuff over here - but some of these LA stories are really interesting.

Just feeling really good in general - today is day two of doing absolutely nothing and it feels incredible. I was going to see a new animated movie that is in the theater called "Light of the World" that I will probably see on Monday. I wrote my dad's birthday card, and put some money in it to bring it tomorrow with his ice cream birthday cake to celebrate.

Just really enjoying the time to myself. Starting to talk to God outloud too, dancing around with my Just Dance stuff, and just really enjoying living alone for once. Probably going to have a nice long shower before the movie starts, then have some tater tots and chicken from the new air fryer.

It is 95 degrees today, so it's a good day to stay in, but tomorrow should be 71, which is a bit extreme. I hope everyone has a beuatiful Saturday.

Having a day off. Just sit in my PJs read and watch TV. Got the lion king, animated version on now. Really it was what was on when I turned on the TV. I’ve never seen the full movie. Maybe some day.

Slept rough. But dreamed I was at Nome with my family. Mum was there too. There was an Amish store where I found a pair of leather shoes with a brand of mental health awareness on the side. Really a cool detailed dream.

@LadyShadow we’re getting the extremes too. We’re pre-severe storms right now, it’s upper 80’s and humid enough for a low 90’s feels like and tomorrow the high is gonna be 68 after dropping to the 40’s tonight. I was just outside and we got that drop in barometric pressure wind—you know that ONE wind that you feel and it’s like “ohhh yeah, a storm’s a-coming”?—THAT wind and I feel wild and free after that. It still might be a couple hours before the storms though, but we have the alert up!

I'm feeling a little better today. I had a headache this morning but I am better now. Studying some language, throwing in some traditional astrology for fun too. It's been a good day thus far.

I feel like “holiday slut Sammy” is coming out early this year. Idk seems like lately the end of the year is full of promiscuity not even real hypersexuality just longing (but also trying to enable the fearful-avoidant attachment bs/make sure that part of me doesn’t get too wound up).

Muddy, i used to be able to smell the season change coming - like Punx Phil, but i would smell in June if August was going to be hot or not, and in January if spring was coming early. I think it may have been El Niño, but i was correct a lot of the time!

I need to take it easy for the rest of the day. I only slept 2 1/2 hours and have been up doing chores non stop them left the house twice and walked different places. At 8,000 steps so far today. I know the lack of sleep is gonna catch up with me if I keep pushing myself

I swear when we tune into our bodies we can FEEL this shyt before they figure it out with math (“forecast only useful for the next 2-3 days” unless you’re in the mountains then it’s “take the 6 hour forecast with a grain of salt. If there’s a 10% chance of rain HAVE A PLAN TO GET BELIW TREE LINE WHEN YOU SEE LIGHTNING!” And all other bs like “yeah, sunny…on the eastern middle third of this slope, no visibility from the summit and crazy winds. You ascending from the north? That’s gonna suck AND blow (really strong winds )” ) (god that this is a lot of parentheses in a row)

Hope MD is doing alright. Hopefully he’s finding out much of his worry was for nought and is getting good post op care.

The weather here is great! Cloudy and might rain but it’s cool. The high today is 59F it’s wonderful. I really should go outside and do something but there’s nothing to do except maybe go park in the park and look at the water. Growing up I spent a lot of time just looking at the water once it got too cold to jump in. I miss having a lake where I could jump in a canoe and paddle around. I miss up north. Now days you’ve got to have a lot of money to enjoy a lake up north.

Damn I miss how calm my brain felt when I first started Adderall before nightly downtown mayhem had me up all night every night.

I can't believe it's only going on 1 pm here. This morning, I got up earlier than I normally do on a Saturday to help at church so my biological time clock is thrown off. I'm taking a little break from being productive right now because I just got done grading some tests. I'd say, for the most part, students did alright on the test. Later, I need to lesson plan a lab my students are doing next week in science.

I am very sleepy though. Maybe, I'll lay down for a bit. I'm not a napper, but I am tired enough laying down might be worth it.

Maybe I can reduce commute time by getting a skateboard and tying a rope to the back of a semi or two traveling West

I found this jar of stuff in my loose leaf that was too fine to put in the infuser without drinking shredded herb or whatever it is. No clue what it is, but I made instant pistachio pudding and it tastes great in it.

I just saw some pic on reddit of a guy proposing through a glory hole and spent too long talking to myself about my ex. It was good stuff (for me, not about him). Yeah, 90% of the time they seem all perfect and “wow, you shot this in the backyard and it tastes like if I bought it at a restaurant my bank account would be empty,” “I loveeeeee <3 how you’re the only person I’ve hiked with that can keep up with my solo pace 🤤” ONLY 10% of the time is he physically, emotionally, and sexually abusive. No! 90% of the time he’s playing and 100% of the time is he a manipulative d-bag!!!

Mom hates it. I got a haircut. I know it looks better than the unkempt crazy I had but does it look bad? I took it in some different lighting.

Good morning

I’m getting pumped dry left right and centre by my 2 eldest kids borrowing money. My daughter borrowed money on Thursday and again yesterday. My son borrowed money this morning. Now I have to dip into my wedding savings. Ughhh. What can you do. I mean when my daughter messages me she has no money for food and she doesn’t get paid until Thursday of course I’m going to lend her money. Problem with my daughter is she always borrows more money than she’s able to pay back. She’s climbing herself into a deeper debt with me.

It’s Father’s Day here and I still have gastro. Going to my partner’s mom’s for lunch but unsure how much I will be able to eat. I’ve been eating very bland food like yoghurt and soup. Last night it was delicious pumpkin soup.

The main thing is what do YOU think of it. If you like it, great! Says me. You know once I cut my hair in a bob, loved it but my partner said “Don’t worry it will grow back “

I’ve never cut my hair in a bob since because my partner prefers longer hair on me hahaha

Personally I like the haircut but it does kinda have a very different feel to it than your facial hair (which probably went better with the “unkempt crazy” as you put it). But like crazy (hitch said, it’s what you think that matters most.

Went for a 1.5 mile walk with N2 today. Cleaned the dishes and cat box and took a shower.
