I will go see the doctor but they can't do much about me coughing up blood with lupus attacking my lungs and thanks to lupus meds giving me pulmonary fibrosis there is not much they can do. I do about 4 breathing treatments a day sometimes it helps sometimes it doesn't. If it gets real bad I am supposed to head to the ER.

I hope Kiya is ok

Jan I am glad you got the MRI done hopefully it will give you answers.

Liz I hope you are not overdoing it to much.

day six, and i can finally swallow without crying.... i spend a lot of time wondering how this happened to me... (cough cough)....
i dropped a jar of rice last nite, and i'm not even going to try to clean it up for a couple more days... i did get and awesome version of teriaki made and eaten , tho!

Jan, so share the results of the MRI as soon as you can~ not even the grouts can cure my curiosity~ i'm sending best wishes for little Belle!

I haven't cried in a while. Today I'm getting a crown fixed. It doesn't even hurt but they said it has decay.

My right side has a bridge that that is sensitive to cold and I can barely eat on it.

If they mess up this crown, I'll be in pain on both sides of my mouth.

God I'm so scared.

Cake, please go to the hospital. It doesn't hurt to go and the worst they can say is they can't help you, and maybe they can do something.

Belle had a little bit of a bad bout last night, but she is perky today. I could barely shuffle today after the MRI and going to the store, but I took her for a tiny walk. It was all I could muster. She has lost enough weight that she slipped out of her special walking vest and ran off into where the traffic is in my driveway. I grabbed before she got too far, but I'm going to have to order an XX-Small for her. I can't use her collar to lead her because of her bronchial inflammation.

I go get my ultrasound on my leg tomorrow, which will double check for a blood clot. I just don't think I have one, but I'll go. For those of you that it might help, I discovered the "bath in a bag" soap they use in the hospital at my drug store. You put a few cap fulls in a sink of warm water and bathe in it. You don't rinse it off and you just dry off. It makes you nice and clean and your skin is soft. I can't take showers anymore. I can't get in it without maybe falling. My back won't let me do it. So, if any of you need something like that and can't find it, send me a message and we'll work it out so I can mail some to you. It is a great blessing. (I am embarrassed to admit I can't shower anymore, but all of you are worth the embarrassment.)

((((Jan)))) glad the MRI went ok and glad you're following through with those. Nice that you had a foam mattress! Wish I'd had one a week out of surgery when I had that neck CT scan!!

So... Yeah it's been rough. I'm at 3 weeks out of surgery, Had my post op: things are pretty good, but I still have some internal bleeding. If it doesn't stop, they'll have to cauterize something. Walking is good, cleaning house is bad. Rest is good. Take things slow.
I've been inpatient the last 5 days (oh the joy), where I couldn't SH from the hysterectomy pain reminding me of a past long buried.
I'm glad to be home but desperately wish someone could help me with everything; meals, shopping, cleaning, laundry. I'm wearing my last clean garment. My mom and my friend both have the flu. I shopped today and could have cried. But I did some good care steps- simple. Like going to a regular check out instead of a self check out like I usually do, walking the cart to the car instead of carrying all the bags.
I tried to take a nap when I got home but kept being interrupted. I had a chocolate pudding and allowed the tears.
Usually I'm a night owl, but since surgery I'm desperately tired by 9pm and awake by six am. I have small moments of wanting to do things, then I'm exhausted.
Now I'm in my most comfortable loose dress and softest robe with a hot pack on my back.
I think I'll make some coffee and read my book.

Jan my cat sunny weighs 17 lbs and McGee weighs 10 lbs. McGee can put away the food but he is a very active cat. Sunny is a senior and watches from his blanket on he couch

For the last two nights, Belle has had an accident on my bed. Last night I got sick(er) when I found it and I really fussed at her a lot. Finally she came and looked up at me and tears were streaming down her little face. I about died. I felt like the worst human being on Earth.

I got my MRI report back. I have bulging discs and degenerative changes to the spine. They are sending me to the top pain clinic in the area. I think they will give me shots in my back and make me wear a brace for a while. I don't know though.

Belle is fine today. I ate a some mashed potatoes and I feel horrible.

I have worried over updating you guys for about six hours now, but I always share, so... I am not keeping any food at all in my body. My colitis has gone full blown. I have no warning before it strikes. The gastro Dr. told me today she thinks I may have a partial intestinal blockage and/or C. Diff. I've had C. Diff before and it's really rough. I've got all the hallmarks of it. I don't know much about intestinal blockages, just what the Dr. told me and what I've read on the net. I've lost 20 pounds.

If I have C. Diff. I'll have to have a new procedure, which I'm hoping will be outpatient. If I have a blockage, I'll be in the hospital. My friend will come and feed and water Belle, but she'll be all alone.

I had to go to my family Dr. today. I have an upper respiratory infection and received antibiotics. But I have to get a special kind of medicine from the gastro before I can ever take antibiotics. They give them to me. They cost $900.00 per prescription!

I also was told today that it will take six weeks minimum for the Pain Specialist's office person to call my Rhuemy back and give me an appointment.

I'm too sick to sit up, but I can't lay down much and have to save it for sleep. Say a prayer or send good wishes to Belle and to me, if you don't mind. I'm sorry about the whining. I'm just overwhelmed.

Awww sweetheart Jan. I am so sorry that you are very sick. When do you go back to the doctor? I feel for you and Belle. Wishing I could help. Hoping really hard that both you and Belle get the care you need for.

I go to the foot Dr. today about my ankle. I go to the heart specialist tomorrow to get the results of my tests. I go back to the gastro on Monday. On Wed. I go get the ultrasound on my leg looking for a blood clot that isn't there. On Thurs. I go back to the Rhuemy. I am so very tired of going to Drs. My entire Feb. has been like this.

Anyway, the gastro is next Monday. I got a box of new diapers that look sort of like panties and they seem to be more comfy. There is absolutely no warming when it hits.
