Hubby's funeral is today. Passed away from pancreatic cancer last week. Diagnosed early March. Stunned. Thankful we could do hospice at home, treatment was not an option due to liver damage.
Have cried more since early March than I have in waaay too long. Hugs for all of you.

Feeling alone, but okay with that. My FOO distanced themselves from our mother and her problems. It’s only going to be me to deal with everything. There’s nothing I can do atm. I’m thinking about going there, but I don’t know what there is for me to successfully do for them. It’s a real shyt show. The whole family is having a lot of problems in their own lives. It feels like the world has really gone haywire. I sure have a lot on my plate. Issues with ending marriage, kids health/mental health, parents lives ending badly. It’s in a free fall.
I am handling it all quite well now, doing what I need to do. I am not emotionally dysregulated anymore! I’m not sure what to make of that for me, except that I will never put myself in the position again to have that happen to me. So, prayers for us and everyone else.

I feel like I didn’t accomplish much today but when I look back I did a fair bit, I think it’s because I procrastinated on an unpleasant task I was dreading. Eventually I did it!

Today was my day off from getting dressed and being around people. My once a week retreat, this is my coping day. I stay in bed a bit longer even if I’m awake. I throw my clothes in the wash and put on new pjs for the day. I have easy food and take a shower before call the midwife comes on. Then I’m ready for the new week.
