I think it dulled my mind as well though. If I could go back in time, I'd stick with a low dose anti-anxiety pill, or get some real good therapy to teach me how to deal with the anxiety and mostly depression.

I thought lorazepam was working like magic, no problems when on it. Until I lowered the dose and I had huge anxiety looking around for 1 mg. of it when I couldn't find the bottle. I take 10 to 20 mg. of diazepam, if I lower it, I feel like I could jump out of my skin when someone is being nasty to me.

I try not to listen to the world news, it's so depressing. Thanks for sharing your experiences little turtle. Hugs to you.
Lorazepam, diazepam both did not work for me. I felt like I could jump out of my skin if someone was nasty to me when I was taking them... I stopped both after 2 days...
Clonazepam used to work nice but I haven't taken it for a long time now. Maybe I'll try it out again for a while to see how it works. Same for aripiprazole. I may or may not, idk.

I have never had amitriptyline I think. I will google it...

I am only on one psychiatric medication now... trihexyphenidyl 2mg and on another generic one thyronorm 75 mcg for my tsh. And I am doing great!

So that's about it all...

Oh and I do watch world news on TV - BBC and CNN.

sigh.......

People who are supposed to be friends trying to take us down
Why?
Medication has also made me sicker
And why do we take ourselves down too

Not today

I crumble
I fall apart
I am not strong, when there is stress
The world and /or the people in it kick us down...

I become primal
I dissolve and pain takes over
I take myself down
Until I hit the bottom....

I still have not learnt to catch myself
It takes time to find the strength to get back up
My emotions are too strong
And too painful....

I feel ashamed
I have those thoughts we should not have
I cannot move
And yet I cannot be still....

I really hate ugly days.

Much loving kindness to all on the bus

Thirty Shades, can your remember a time or an incident in which you felt as if some of that negative emotion had escaped you?

I wonder if EMDR would help?

This is a good response, it’s hard to speak of those things
Especially when it feels like people irl don’t want to listen

I don’t know much about EMDR

Does anyone on the bus know much about EMDR?

Love and hugs to all
