sore throat sucks.....work was cancelled because of storm ......yeah!!! don't have to call in sick or go to work sick. I can take meds and not feel my sore throat....hopefully pretend I'm not sick on this wonderful day off.

Just so so. Not much sleep so i am just trudging along. I will survive, not sure how, but where there is a will there is a way, right?

Hip is still bad but naproxen helps it and a few stretch exercises too. They get me mobile again.

Horrible commute today to and from work snow and drifting blowing snow and slippery roads. I feel guilty because I told Mom to stop talking. She wasn't making sense and I couldn't deal with her. Apparently our short haired dog was left out for several hours after my son left for work and it is very cold and windy. Then she wouldn't eat her lunch I brought her because she said I wasn't happy with her.

Today has barely even started yet I feel like crap. Too many bills to pay and not enough money to cover even half of them.
I hate this country's bulls*** attitude to parents as a whole, let alone young parents. I should be able to choose to stay at home and raise my child and not have to suffer for the rest of my life because I didn't work straight out of school. Instead I'm looked down on for never having worked and no one will even give me a *** damn chance. And now it looks like I'll fail my uni subjects because my net hasn't been working properly for the last month and if I fail these subjects I won't get another chance- I won't be able to study unless I magically come up with over a grand per unit which then means even less chance of ever getting a job because I wanted to stay at home and raise my son myself rather than putting him in childcare and never seeing him.
Society seriously needs to rethink it's priorities. I get looked down on for choosing to raise my son and because of my age yet my son has far more manners and is more grateful than 99% of his schoolmates whose parents put them in childcare, work ridiculous hours, and don't bother teaching their children that there's this amazing word "no" and that they're going to hear it every day for the rest of their lives, and that once they're adults having a tantrum won't change that "no" to a "yes".

Today only got worse. My son is being forced to stay with a woman he has said continues to physically abuse him and I'm apparently lying about the whole thing. And people seriously wonder why I hate them.

Happy to know I am off work now for two days. I finally get to see my GP today and I get my Medic Alert tattoos tomorrow.

I should not have worn my favorite shoes yesterday so soon after a severely sprained ankle / foot

I'm a bit groggy, but okay so far...

I was on the way to work when they announced that the schools are closed so that means I get the day off too. It was icy and drifting but I think I could have made it in, nice not to have to though. I already had my animals and family fed, brushed my teeth and took a shower so it's a more productive day than most so far.

Tired a little. Got off work at 5 am and did not sleep until 4 pm and only 4 hours. I need to go back to bed after I eat.

I feel unstable.
