It's supposed to snow the rest of this week. Maybe we'll get to come in later in the morning...

It's nice when one of the strangers from the facility that I usually say good morning to as I walk out (a personal challenge I gave myself years ago to say hi good morning to strangers in the facility and probably has done me good) but sees me straggling a little later than usual and actually waited a bit til he I got closer, before going in a side door into the building, to say good morning to me think that's made my day sort of plus the talk Witha company coworker too

I've been taking French classes recently. I just received a request completely in French and responded to it in the same. With a little help from translations on the reply, but I managed to understand the full request without any help.

Mission accomplished.

Wow I suck at cooking so much it surprises even me; it makes me think, “How can someone suck this much at preparing a simple meal?” Unless it’s packaged and microwavable with simple, step-by-step instructions I will completely fail at making it, although heck if I know how to make Kraft Dinner.

All I wanted to do was cook some of our potatoes. But when I took them out of the pot, they were still really hard, so I thought I’d cook them some more.

And then all the water went green but they were still too hard!

And then all the water evaporated and I burnt them! .

Damn!

Just one more sad story in my long list of sad cooking stories. Need I remind everyone of the cheese, fire, and microwave? .

I just watched this show over the weekend called "Worst Cooks In America," they pick people who don't know anything about cooking and teach them how to cook. Then they have cook offs to see who is improving the best and at the end the winner wins like 10 grand or something.

I stopped and picked up some veggies and fruits for juicing this weekend. I'm hoping giving my jaw and stomach a rest will stop the pain

I rear-ended this guy in a company car 1 week ago tomorrow. He said I should be hearing from the rental car's insurance, as his company rents the cars...although neither of our cars had 1 scratch on them. I had mine looked at, nothing was found (as I suspected).
And I have heard nothing from his end. But it's not like I want to call and check if his company never reported it to the insurance company (I do have that info.). I know he called his company to find out what to do because I was standing right there when he did that. So now, and I suffer from constant anxiety, I am like, is something going to happen here or not??

If you have still not heard from them after a week, I'd bet they blew it off. Any claims probably hurt their rate.

You may have lucked out

Don't you just love it when a doctor says, 'I don't want to scare you but...'

It may be just my paranoia and current bad attitude shining through, but I don't like this new "like" thing attached to posts. I feel it's turning what we say in to a popularity contest and some people who don't get many are going to feel bad. Also, I'm not a big "hugger" and "liker". It's one of the reasons I avoid and don't belong to FaceBook.

I know this site is public, but we joined here to share our problems and to feel "safe". If they start "sharing" posts on Facebook and Twitter, that will disappear and so will I.
