I came across these words when I was looking for peace with my grief long after my Mother had actually died. They seemed to put words to my feelings.

"you don't get oer it, you jut get through it.
You don't get by it, because you can't get around it.
It doesn't "get better", it just gets different.

Last eve ,, I got a call from a Buddy of mine [ we been Friends for some 34 years ].
But he had had a phone conversation with Donna this past Christmas [ I never knew ]. But he relayed a part of the convo to me .. And from what he gathered >>.. Donna had come to except her Short Time , that was left , of her life .

Knowing this ,,,,,,,,,,, Has made me feel so much more at ease .

((((((((WMD)))))))) i don't know you like many others do but i am so very, very sorry for the loss of your precious donna. she is healed now. she no longer suffers, imho. now in time you need to pick up the fragments of your life, give yourself all the time you feel you need, and know that we are and will always be here for you. i too have lost some very special people in my life, one was my mom who had what donna had, and "realize" the hole in your heart you are feeling.

A week ago today ,, I watched as the hours passed ,, Donnas' Life and Love ,, slowly drift away from her physical Body ,, and into the Spiritual Realm ...

A couple days ago , I found a letter she had wrote to her Mother ,, a month before she passed [ 3 years ago this March 30 th ] .....If I may ,,, Share it here .

I want to know you .

Your wants , your needs , your worries , your Dreams .[ the complete you ].
I want to know My Mother , in every way and fashion .
I ' ve known you now for almost 49 years , and I am not sure that I really and truly know the real person behind and beneath the other side of My Moma .

The Moma I know is one of the best people and friend , or friends I could ever have hoped to ever have in my life, and others . [ not to mention , she gave birth to me ].

She was always there when I sometimes and/or wasn't .
No matter , how much I messed up she still found a way to help me , and most of the time get me to a better place .
She made me laugh ....she would do things , she denies now , but let me remind you now !!!
....... will continue ......[ it gets comical ].

You use to fart , and put my and Jimmys' [ Donnas' brother ], ..head under the blanket and have the biggest laugh out of it >>>> but so did we . - You had farting contests at Aunt Rebas' in Florida when you were in the laundry hallway .
I also remember me and Luanne playing Barbie ,, then you and Barbie having *dirty sex scenes *---- Don't you denie it ,,,, we were alot younger , and I Mean ALOT Younger then , 40 yrs or more . But at least I can remember for the moment , I think ?

You were a bad kid as I recall nyou telling me .
1) You and Reba teasing the old dead mule with rocks .
2) Smoking-----.
3) getting into mamows dipping snuff and getting sick . May not have been Mamows but somebodies.

If I jump around from one thing to the other , try to understand . I found out just how much time you might have left for me to write and figure out what I would like to say and sentament to you ,,, See , I changed the subject ....

Moma all I want to write ,, but would rather say is that ..... No one can , or ever will be a better friend , mother , mentor , helper , comedian , sister .

I Love You for every thing that you are and all that you will be to all that Love You ,, in the past , present , and future.

The last couple of days ,, I have gotten back in the world .
I had told Donnas' kin , [ when they said to me , " Why don't ya go back to work "? ]
....... I usually responded , " I am doing that now ! >> Believe me ,, Looking after her , IS Work ......"

But this resteraunt that is being re-built , was my plan to get back to it ,,and since I knew / and had work with ,, the guy that was going to be doing the interior finish work ,, I started back to keeping myself occupied .
I had just forgotten ,, that this guy works 12 hour days . We do get 8 hours worth of work done ,,, just takes us longer >>>. We're old !!! LOL.

Soooooooooo ,, Just a few more forseeable speed bumps to endure ,, and maybe Life will become a bit more exceptable / tolerable .
