I started this thread just a couple months like >> after I joined PsychCentral .
it was as it reads ; Many ways a peep goes / feels ,, their way through a Dx of cancer . ________________________________________________________________ *** Trig *** ??? /// " only triggering if super hyper to the subject . " ________________________________________________________________ * This is I talking ,, " I " ,, wanted her to eat better . ...................... ,, " I " ,, wanted her to do physical therapy . ...................... ,, " I " ,, wanted her to get better . ...................... ,, " I " ,, wanted to be selfish .......................................... Had an appointment with cancer Doc and his P . A . this morning . Now ,, ............ ,, " I " ,, want to do as she wishes , when she wants , and I now have to put my  into it F i r s t .While typing this out ,, I have had a good interruption , >> her cousin Luanne invited us over tomorrow for dinner ,, and together we worked out a menu that Donna may just pick at ,, but they will be the flavors that >> when someone else cooks it >>> hehe [ usually me ,, I get cooked for too !!!  ] Her cousin LOL. had to make a shopping list thingy ,, Donna picky eater ,, hehe .... No Really .... .... but I know what will get her to eat ....Something that is seafood first , mmmmmmmmm?? >>>.. Luannes' Hubby is the cook in their House [ geeeeee familiar ,, maybe that is why Donna kept me around  ].But he does a shrimp dish she likes .. Now me >>>..... [ oh ... & Donna ],,,Fondue' ,, That will allow her some more flavors as sauces go ,,, plus I like singing meat in peanut oil ... hehe. & the sauces ..  I guess ya ' ll can tell ,, I forgave her for that last vodka gfughriuhytriaturbe nvm .. That goes under >> * what's done is done *. Thing is ,, I will / am / going to know these tears ???? ..... only if I not N O W >>>. Give My H E A R T >>>..  ..Tomorrow also ,, early afternoon ,, Kate B. Reynolds peeps will come by and they take her next week for a respite . 3 - 4 days at a time ,, so I can get house set up for her comfort . WoW !!!  ...... Do I have laundry ... WMD. |

Donna had a good time ,, even though she needed to nap a bit .
And hospice peeps will be bring a hospital bed if for her while she is at the respite ,, and her Docs' will install a morphine pump .. Did get some tender moment pics ,, well Luanne took them while I sat next to Donna >> and she leaned her head on my shoulder ... But Lu and I agreed ,,, this was probably Donnas' last time out for I have been having to carry her again ,, and the tumors on her spine are just paining her to no end . Thanks bop . corky. |

It is a rollercoaster ,,, and bop ,, As I have said in frustration in this thread >> I don't remember buying the ticket .
....and Part of me knows ,, the time is ending ... Was the life / ride worth it in all the ups and downs ? [ 28 years of them ? ] Hell Yes ! but i would rather have this ride ,, make me throw - up 1000 more times ...... Than to travel down this last hill .    .................................................................................................................. |

hon I know it is a rough hill to be on. know right now this minute I am there beside you in spirit. I wish I could come up today but just not possible at the moment. Patrick and I are thinking about you both. give Donna a big gentle hug for me ok?

I tracked down an ol' Friend of ours [ was Donnas' after 2 nd shift beers buddy ].
cool ... He got her to wake up and sit up .... So ,,,,,,, Now She and I can discuss the schedule for the next couple days ,,, [ I would rather have her input ]. Also ,, She doesn't want me to cancel her dental appointment [ luckily I hadn't yet ] Annnnnnnnnd ,, she said she would eat today and get up her strength .. So we can keep everything going ,,, and She promised to get a * kick butt , take names * attitude for the next few days ....... I going to hold her to it !!! LOL.  .......hehe.

........ Cheah yea . ,,,, and then there is >>..the difference ,, a day makes . After going a couple rounds this morn ,,, She decided >> " No Hospice ". And that is her desire ,,, >> that is her wish ,,, >>>......... Then that is the way it will be ... and gee ,, Her brother called and asked why she not at Hospice cancer Hospital ? [ Here comes IMO ,, the Funny Part ........ ] I told him ,, " She doesn't want to " ! LMAO. His reply ; [ get this ] >>>....... She doesn't have a choice . :O I laughed , and told him ,, " You not know your sister . " Sooo her cousin Luanne came over and helped me bathe her ,, and I made the sofa back up again .. She likes to be where , when she opens her eyes >>> everything is same . She told Lu ,,, " No Hospice place " Her other cousin came over after her work day was done .... They [ Donna mainly ] >>... Picked on me >> and Donna said " I a good boy ". and told this Cousin >>> " No Hospice Place ". I will call her other cousin >> and tell her tonight >> Come by tomorrow eve . [ Naturally these relatives want to see her ,, ] ... I cool with it . But More importantly >>>>>.... It is what Donna wants that comes F I R S T !!!!!!!!! So how they feel now [ not being on the need to know list ] ,, Tough **** ! Sometimes being a S.O.B. ??? hehe ,, comes in handy ....  ...and now Donna knows ,, she home here ,, and that will be a constant . till......       :=l . |

As is fairly common knowledge here , I do a short * ramble * .
The knowledge part : Donna and I have been together since 1980 . Never married ,, no children . So survivors as to law ATM >>> .... leaves her Dad , He wants family plot place burial and the >> errrrmmm >> Most likely ? >> Funeral his way . Even though Donna has her wants and wishes . [ The Family seems to Believe >> there is no choice ] ... Yea ,, Riiiiiiiiiiiiight !!!! So considering Her First >> as it , has to / should be ....... To lessen the WTF later ? She said the other day >> " I never had a reason to get married " . ,,, Now I Do ! That is probably funny sounding to some ,, But it is that place as a b/f g/f bff >>.. is ,, For us at least . To have had each other for all these [ 28 ] years to lean on , trust , and ,,, No lie >> been each , disappointed in , as this long a time ? ,, Would be unavoidable and the norm . K ,,,, Cousins Karen and Luanne came ,, Fed Donna some chocolate shake and strawberry yogurt >> Karen did . Luanne helped so much >> getting her [ mine ,, hehe ] ,,, P J bottoms on . hehehehehe ,,, I caught this in re re read >>> LOL. P J s' were put on Donna ... After I gave them the guy washing , drying ,, treatment . [ that is lightly spraying with air freshener ] LOL .I set Donna in her wheel chair ,, we placed her feet ,, and covered her well . And then ,,, out into the Sun ,, [ 60 degrees Farahn ]...But she was outside the fence from her dogs .... And ATM ?? Wolfy on sofa >>> at her feet . [ did I mention ,,,,, ] . L O L ! ! ! >>>>. . got a lil ' smokeable ,, the smile >> from a >> *shot-gun * Blow to inhale hit ....Donna went relax ... [ Shame on her ... hehe ] WMD. |

I started this thread with the word * History * included .........
Got Donna all Bathed [ I have to do it every other day ] ,, pulled sheet up ,, re - fluffed >> Got her dressed in a nice flannel to her feet thingy . Raynadii had crocheted her a hat >> a year or so back . It is a nice brown hat ,, with a pink stripped stitched in .. So I put that on .. She be so ,,, realizing ,, I am here ...................................?.....................yep. |

 __________________I so hope so ,, Hospice nurse was here today and did her vitals ... Donna is [ well as can be ] In the great are for time left ,, 1 ? 2 weeks ... So That made me smile . Nurse told me that if I noticed certain actions that are grimacing [ Donna can handle alot of pain ] ,, but nurse told me >. the meds for pain >> I can give the dose I am ,, and If I need to help her more >> a lil bit extra is ok . |

corky today meant so much to me. thank you for sharing that time with me. although right now I can't be there in body, in mind and spirit pat and I are with you. When Donna tried so hard to speak to me last night I cried. much love and peace to you and donna
