Well, normal isn't a consideration. You are still upset about this. That's what's real. It sounds like your brief session didn't provide much help with this. I hope next session you can talk with her about it more.

Thanks for this!

Well it went better than I thought. She was very supportive of me and helped me through a severe flashback in session that I had of my rape. We didn't really talk about last week. Just moved forward...
Thanks for this!

Sorry I wasn't here when you posted this. I'm glad your session went well and she helped you with a flashback.

How do you feel about moving on and not talking about last week?
Thanks for this!

Well, I think I would have liked it better if we had discussed it however I would prefer to move forward than to have another session like the one that we had last week...

Now I am not sure if I am angry at her or bitter or what. However I tend to look at people as all good or all bad (one of my bpd tendencies i know) and right now I can't help but to view her as all bad. I am too scared to tell her this though...
Thanks for this!

There's no reason you can't still go back and talk about it yet. Moving forward can sometimes be hindered by leaving an issue unresolved...

Is it hard to bring up something like this, that you want to talk about?
Thanks for this!

I think it's hard for me to bring up with her because it is about my feelings towards her. I don't want her to think that I hate her because I don't. I also don't want her to be mad at me. I have had my fair share of that enough lately I think...

Me too. You feel what you feel and what you feel is important and meaningful.
Our T's do not expect us to like them all the time. That wouldn't be a realistic expectation. Talking about your anger with your words is a good thing!
Thanks for this!

PTSD, I know sometimes its easier said than done, but if you still feel like this has to be resolved then I really think you should bring it up. Whatever you're feelings are towards you're T from that session, just keep in mind that telling her is not anything she has not heard before by someone at some point. Everything you feel is valid because its what you feel and she or anyone else for that fact cannot judge it. You're feelings are you're feelings and you are entitled to them and sharing them.

I hope you find resolve with this soon. Hugs.
Thanks for this!

This is SO true. My T once said (in terms of gift giving..not literally, but anyway...) "You can say I hate this, and I hate you too!!!!"

That pretty much was my response. I would NEVER say that, and she knows that...but I think she was trying to tell me that I can express anger in there. That hasn't happened, but I do think of that sentence often. It still is scary, i totally get it.
Thanks for this!

Ts are trained to take whatever feelings we have and whatever feelings we have toward them, good or bad, and deal with it and help us deal with them! That is the gift we have in therapy that we don't have in other relationships, yes.....
Thanks for this!

You have already gotten a lot of good advice her Cats. I think that you would benefit so much by bringing this up with your T.

I'm thinking of sending her a text....I thin k that will be easier for me so that I don't have to say what I want to say to her in person. Atleast that way if she does get mad I won't have to be there to see it. -Right away anyway...
