Thanks Hank. I think he should get the lawyer.

Granite-sorry that happened to your hubby. I just need for this to be fixed. I want my H to start looking for a job NOW and not wait for the outcome. Then if the outcome is good-he can just stop job searching. But we can't loose money. We barely make it now.

Thank God for the union. That's your best hope, I think.

I'm about to collapse...need to get to bed. Meds have kicked in. Had good day working at home. Got a lot accomplished.

Hope everyone's night is peaceful.

I hope the union serves your husband well, ttgb. Good luck.

I'm feeling peeved right now. My partner and I were headed out for a fun day at an art museum with another friend, and before we hit the freeway, we got hit from behind at a red light. Minor damage to the car, but the guy tried the, "We don't need to bring insurance into this. I got a buddy can fix that right up for you." crap. Yeah, I got a buddy, guy. My insurance agent that I pay $1100 a year for this crap. The balls on this guy. We called the insurance co, and went to the museum anyway and had fun, but now I'm home and my neck is burning. I already had a pdoc appt. tomorrow. Now I'm gonna go to the regular doc too. I don't need this.

I'm a little nervous cuz I have the same insurance company as the other guy which screams conflict of interest. At least I didn't let it ruin my whole day, but it's just gonna be a big p.i.t.a. Also the irony is I was stoned and drunk for a decade and didn't get into one accident, and in the 4.5 years I've been sober I've gotten in 3. I'm cranky. People of the couch, please cheer me up.

Best of luck, ttgb. And to snuffle, too - good for you for not taking the nonsense about the buddy fixing the car.

Me, I have worked 120% these past couple of weeks, so since I only actually have about 80% employment I'm *gasp* taking today off! It's 10:30am and I'm not even out of my pajamas yet...
Also, this will be my first day without meds since I started taking them in July - I've been cutting down very slowly as instructed by pdoc. May I just hang out on the couch for a bit?

TTGB - I hope your session goes well. Feel free to check back in on the couch and let us know how it went if you want.

Apteryx - enjoy your day off. I have spent many free days just vegging out here.

I get to spend some "quality" time with the FOO as I have to go finish doing their tax returns. There will also be some working this weekend, which I'm not happy about.

Hoping to have dinner with a friend Saturday nite to balance stuff out.

LC - your T does truely seem awesome, I'm happy its working well for you.

I have to do the thank you cards from my mother's funeral this weekend. It's a good thing I'm still pretty shut down.

On the plus side, my best friend comes back tonight from a trip overseas. I haven't seen her in more than 2 weeks and I missed her terribly.

Just about to head in to the dr. We'll see how it goes. I'm really hoping this is temporary. I went to the pdoc this am who prescribed buspar to replace the supplemental wellbutrin I just went off. Anyone have any buspar experiences?

Hey Snuffle...I feel your pain...literally. I was in 2 rear-end collisions in my 20's 2 years apart and have had chronic neck pain ever since. I've seen a chiropractor ever since and now am having numbness and pain in my right hand. The chiro told me today I probably need to see a neurologist because my neck may be getting worse with age. I have no idea what a neurologist would do other than a nerve conduction test and an MRI of my neck. I would assume treatment would be surgery and I'm NOT having surgery on my neck at age 35.

Lola...it's Friday night, dear.

The doctor just said yup, whiplash. So she gave me some muscle relaxers, told me to use heat and come back if it's worse. I may go to the chiropractor too--gotta see if auto insurance will pay. My dw is very sore too. We're kinda pathetic together. Crossing my fingers it's a temporary thing.
