Hi Everyone. The saga continues. Husband has another hearing on Thursday with the director of where he works. He has to do that first before the union can start the process of taking this to arbitration. I imagine the director will also uphold the decision to terminate since the manager and head manager did. This is called Step 3 in the collective bargaining agreement that the union has. In the meantime I have been working endlessly to find him a job and me a second job.

ran this morning, now flopped on the couch with a sore calf muscle and sore left foot, feeling slightly grumpy about my body talking back to me so much!
but I'll have to get up soon, because the kids are all up and full of energy. and there's laundry to do and other stuff .....

Oh has it been a day at work.... And I am still here! There is some sort of boy scout ceremony going on by my office window. They have a microphone and even my white noise machine can't block it out. Ugh.

Chopin - sorry you're in a dark place. I hope things are getting better.
LC and TTGB - nice to see you dropped by. Keep taking care of yourselves.

I think the dark place is all of the suppressed emotions trying to come to the surface. I just can't cry, though. That's what I'm going to talk about in T tomorrow. Sometimes I feel like the lady in the recent Abilify commercial with the depressive "bathrobe"; like a weight on my shoulders. Sometimes it feels like it resides within my chest.

The stock market made better reading back then.

Really? Then I will take a steak dinner with baked potato. And strawberry shortcake for dessert. Still stuck at work and getting hungry. (There's nothing more frustrating than waiting for someone to finish-up a meeting so I can lock the door and set the alarm.)

Just finished working for the day & sinking into the couch with my feet up. Ahhh! Had a great session with t this morning. Gave her the poem I wrote for her, she loved it and it even made her cry a little she was so touched. Then we spent the rest of the time talking about one dream... it was a long dream, and it was "chaos" as she termed it, was just all over the place and I jotted notes all over my copy of things I need to think more about etc. Very very productive session! But for now, I'm kicking back, rela...zzz...um....relaxing...zzz....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz (heehee!)

Morning everyone... I am not in my usual seat today. They took my beloved loveseat out with the trash! Today I am getting an over-sized chair and ottoman delivered. Hopefully it comes soon because H's seat on the sofa isn't very comfy. Had a fitful night with ativan withdrawal symptoms and worries about T. Maybe I can catch a nice nap in my new chair when it comes in.

I haven't been an active participant of this thread, but maybe now that I am off from school for the summer, I will hang around in here a bit and see what's going on. As far as seating in the room, I prefer a recliner that rocks and swivels. Gotta have a pillow, too!

ugh...they are both benzos and benzo withdrawal is a living h e l l. Extremely addictive, in fact they consider the addictionl to be worse then heroine. (something the docs never told me)
Lola, you won't go thru withdrawal switching from ativan to xanax so no worries.

I've done good today, so now it's almost beer o'clock. (Don't worry, I won't get drunk - I have choir rehearsal later tonight. But I have deserved a pint. I won't spill on the couch.)
