Here's what it is supposed to say: "Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted." Ralph Waldo Emerson

I don't know how to get it to show up.

One day I'm going to learn to take my Trazodone early enough to get to work. I called out at 11:00, when I woke up. I'm supposed to be working from home. There isn't much for me to do. I'm lying down now to take a nap. I don't wake up until I've slept 10 hours on the Trazodone. I'm sorry I'm not making much sense.

((Chopin)) - Have you tried cutting your dose? It may help if you take less. Personally, Trazadone (well, I took the generic) didn't do anything for me, though I was taking a low dose at 20mg. I bet if I kept increasing it, it probably would have worked but we switched medications anyway.

Hey y'all, I know this is from forever ago in couch-time, but as an FYI, I LOVE talking about dreams. Discussing dreams constituted a huge percentage of my time with exT -- probably the thing I liked the most about seeing an old-school analyst. I feel like I've seen this issue pop up before, too. I know I posted to someone asking about Jungian analysts.

So, if you post about a dream and no one responds, feel free to PM me and tell me to get my butt over to your thread . Or just PM me. Whatevs.

I should really get to work... the last time I didn't go to work for reasons unrelated to family stuff (we all know how relaxing that is) has to have been maybe a month ago. So I spent the morning at home getting nothing done, except a little cyber Monday browsing. My brain feels a lot better.

to everyone.

Hi all
Just made the most awkward phone call of my life.
Had to call the clinic to schedule follow-up and the authorization had to go through the person I wrote my letter of concern about. Now I have to sit and wait for a call back. Ugh.

I think my t would be proud of me today.
I talked wtih the person I had an issue with and I didn't freak out. I was able to question why they are now orering two tests instead of one and my questions led to them agreeing to check one test before doing the second one. I am still scared as all heck, but at least I am taking action and that is what t has been wanting me to do. Also I should have the results before I see t so I can get support if needed.

Granite, my T told me that we're supposed to relate with our parents as adults to adults now. Adults can be told that you are not buying them a car. They shouldn't even expect to be bought a car. Her reaction to her unreasonable expectations is her responsibility. It is definitely not yours.

Just got home. Wow, it was a long day with an intense migraine. Not fun having to work and act like nothing is wrong.

I warned my daughter that I was going to be spending time with an ice pack on my head and need some peace and quiet. Not only is this one cycle related, but rain/snow is on the way tonight/tomorrow. Hope it breaks soon....

I love the original Muppet Show. First English-language TV I ever saw (that I can remember!) We have the first three seasons on DVD. Truly good entertainment - not sugary or frantic despite being aimed at kids, and with quite adult humour without being offensive.
