I am looking for this saying on a coffee mug or water glass for my T for the holidays (and I want to send it to couple of other friends as well):

Couch 25

I cannot find it anywhere. And my budget is really limited so I'm not really able to just have some made up. [There's a big "set-up" fee apparently.] If anyone happens to see this on a mug or cup for sale, can you give me a heads up?
Thanks for this!

I don't understand why they would do that... directv has satellite music stations and it has a designated "holiday" station... plays patriotic music on 4th of july...spooky stuff on Halloween, etc.... Christmas music is my favorite...but I realize its not everyones...

I am not against a holiday channel - just wish they would not have taken one of my favorites and turned it into holiday for 2 months. I hope the 40s channel is back on Jan. 1

MKAC, I haven't seen that on a mug but they do have these mugs that are like a kit... where you can draw on the paper or put your own photos in the mugs... you could buy some of them and print the saying out to add to the mug... its like a double walled clear mug

MKAC, what's your budget for something like this? I don't think I've ever seen that saying on a mug - but I'd imagine that ordering a photo mug with that on it could be done for maybe $10-$12. (Walgreens has 37% off photo mugs at the moment which makes the price under $8 each.)

Just got back from seeing pdoc, he is ok with me lowering my meds on my own this past july, he said he was going to suggest it today anyway as soon as he saw how good I was doing. It was so fun telling him about my new job. I told him how much therapy has continued to help me, and told him that she just moved out of state and he goes "oh no!" I so appreciated that. But I told him that we're doing phone sessions and had our first one yesterday, so all is well on that front. I miss seeing her in person, but well soon we will have skype once she gets set up. Working with her on the phone was absolutely fine. I told him I didn't remember if I had ever thanked him and so I said thank you most sincerely for saving my life 3 years ago. (I didn't realize it had already been 3 years my goodness) He was quite touched and said how nice it was to hear. And said in that spirit he was going to go out and thank his staff when we were done because people just don't express their appreciation of other people enough in today's world. That made me happy, because I love the receptionists they're awesome. It's so good to be "me" again. It really is. I have a very thankful soul this holiday season.

I'm so confused...

People keep saying I changed...they keep saying that I became secluded and distant...and people say they miss me, or that I was a nice person, etc..

But yet none of these people ever made the effort to contact me?? I've been depressed and **** lately. What do they expect me to do- pretend all is fine and dandy and surround myself with people when I just want to be alone? I've been hurt by people too much, trying to make friends, that I gave up on trying and now I don't talk to people much. Even my own bf thinks I've changed, because I'm no longer interested in the things I used to love doing. Isn't that one of the hallmarks of depression?? Ugh. I just wish I could be something or do something right. I wish i could take care of myself without everyone breathing down my back saying I've changed for the worse. I thought i was doing better actually..

vistaprint is a great site and much cheaper than the others I had seen! Thank you, stopdog! I couldn't get exactly the thing I posted, because the resolution was too low, so I created a bitmap to use. Much more fun that working. LOL.

Last year, while sitting with my dad during his cancer treatments, I talked to a woman whose son was waiting for a bone marrow donor match for a transplant. I went to a web site called BeTheMatch.org and signed up to be a donor. I thought people on here might be interested in signing up as well.

I haven't been matched with anyone yet. Apparently my mixed heritage makes a match tough. That was part of the reason I signed up; I had read that it is really hard to find a match for mixed race people.

Lola, love the song in your sig line. "If I knew the way, I would take you home."

I'll play the work game, but I must warn you, I'm a "champeen."

That's great you signed up. I work with someone who needs to have a bone marrow transplant and is also mixed race. She has said the same as you that it is almost impossible for her to find a match. She just finished treatment a few weeks ago. I am hopeful that it will produce some positive results for her.

I signed up on the bone marrow donor list over 20 years ago when a law school classmate's baby needed a transplant.
Thanks for this!

QMRP? QDDP? QMHP? Couch 25

I'm a QMRP, my coworker who's job is changing like mine is a QDDP, and my boss is a QMRP and QMHP.

To qualify to be "qualified", you have to have a bachelor's in a human service or medical field (psychology, social work, MD, PA, BSN, sociology, etc.) plus one year's direct care experience with people with disabilities or mental health disorders. All that for 2-4 letters (I just go by QP).

Welcome back Lola. Wednesday is my day off, but I am playing the avoid life - bored game. Netflix, online jigsaw puzzles, and MIT's open course ware are filling my afternoon.

I'm not trying to trigger you! You sound just like my H. "If you want to be on time, get up earlier!" It's not so simple for me. I have problems either way; either I don't take meds for sleep and fall asleep at 5 am and get 2-3 hours sleep and it's hard for me to get up (and all my psychiatric issues multiply X 10), or I take sleep meds that mostly work, but make it difficult to get up (and I don't go OCD, BPD, anxiety through the roof, extremely depressive, paranoid, etc.)!

It's a choice between two evils...maybe be on time, but crazy as a loon or almost definitely be late and mostly sane.
