Glad you are better. Trauma lady may have noticed but chose not to comment.

I like doing laundry. Fairly immediate gratification for me.

Jersey- the pergo should be fine.
Thanks for this!

It can be daunting for current members when someone new joins-just as much as the new person joining and going in and not knowing what to expect. Eeek.
In every group I was in, we got two or three week's notice.

These fears are very significant. This might be a good chance to look at those fears again. (Sorry to preach)

I'm glad you felt well enough to get out Wiki... It must have been hard having to deal with everyone else's feelings but you know you are loved...

Maybe trauma lady wasn't going to bring it up unless you did... my xT would have acted like nothing was different unless I brought it up...

Thanks, CE. Very difficult topics for me to talk about....*sigh*...and when I have brought it up in group, it hasn't been gratifying or helpful. It does lead to some good discussion for the group, but I struggle with people not really being able to relate.

There are times when I feel differently and am aware that I don't disappear, that I still have value, etc....but this same fear creeps up, every single time.

I'd imagine it has a lot to do with past experiences - in my family and in certain friendships in pre-teen and teen years that helped me feel invisible. Such damaging times.

Glad you were able to get out today and sit in the sun. Wish the sun was around here today.

I didn't get squat done so far today. Made some jewelry, cooked....no cleaning though. Ugh. The migraine is making a fierce return and I am sooo sleepy right now. I just want to crawl in bed and sleep. But, having an 11 year old makes that less likely.

Ugh. I can't believe we (mom/bf/me) are fighting over a stupid ham. Bf says it's fully cooked and doesn't need to be cooked just heated. Mom says she's not stupid she knows what she's doing. I'm stuck in the middle per usual. Then bf asks why there's pineapple on the table, mom says pineapple is for the ham. He thinks everyone's crazy for liking pineapple on ham. He says that's a "hawaii thing" and we're crazy. He says only brown sugar and honey should glaze a ham.

Whatever. I'm staying out of it now. I've got a headache, I don't really care about food. I hate ham anyway. It's too salty and I don't even like meat much.

It looks like the floors survived the windex spill. They are shiny though. Normally pergo does not shine.

pineapple is a fruit! what's wrong with that? LOL um well the brown sugar, can't argue that one......

although - I had mashed potatoes made with sweet potatoes/yams whatever you call them for the first time recently and never knew they could taste so GOOD. I've always hated the sticky sweet casserole people make at thanksgiving so never tried them w/out all the sugar. they are yummy!
Thanks for this!

I've never been a big fan of sweet things with meat. But now I don't eat meat at all, so it doesn't matter.

I don't care for people who insist that their way to prepare a food is the only acceptable way. I think I'd be taking refuge under a blanket, too.

I check out for most of my life, but especially when I get home. I always find a way to avoid interacting with my H and the kids. There is always a reason to lay in bed. Headache, depressed, anxiety, too loud out in the living room, kids aren't listening to me, etc.. I need to stop checking out.

This is why I am a bad wife and mother.

You are a good wife and mother. You just have circumstances beyond your control messing with your mo-joe right now. You'll pull it together. I know you will.

I just watched the UNC Tar Heels women's soccer team win their 21st national title since the NCAA added women's soccer as a sport 29 years ago. Can you spell total domination?
