I don't think I was trying to say anything in particular. Just thought it was funny.

ACK!! T just emailed me a link to some kind of "healing chronic pain" telecourse that's given by a top notch gestalt therapist. He acknowledged that he knows it costs money (cuz obviously that's my biggest issue right now).

...And it just irritated me, right off the bat. AAARGH. STOP SUGGESTING THINGS TO ME THAT COST MONEY when I DON'T HAVE IT!!!!!

...The telecourse is in May....and if I end up with a job by then, then I won't be able to participate because each session is from 1 PM to 2:30 PM, one day a week for 6 weeks. If I don't have a job yet, then I won't be able to afford the $550 fee.

Irritated. Grrr.

...I think I'm also irritated because my sister just texted me earlier saying that she didn't think she was coming to the hospital tonight (so that I could have the night off). Her middle child has strep throat. She was going to come to the hospital with her youngest child, but wasn't sure if it was a good idea in case of the spread of germs.

So, obviously, to be on the safe side, she's not coming. Which means I don't get the night off. I'm tired. I want to stay home. I need to get to the bank. I need to get to the pharmacy to pick up my script. I want to rest. AAAARGH!

I wouldn't call them kids exactly... they are MA or PhD students, most of them. And they were not ill-behaved, it's just a really tough group.

MUE if your mom is stable, why don't you get the interpretative services of the hospital and tell her you have some things to do.... take care of yourself remember?

MUE, you DO get the night off if you want. Tonight is your sister's responsibility. Tell her if she cannot make it, she should either let your mom know that she is not coming on HER night, and why, or she needs to find someone OTHER THAN YOU to cover for her. You already have plans and things you actually NEED to do. Boundaries, Woman, BOUNDARIES!

To elaborate: at least three people speak no English at all. None. Which means they should not even have been accepted... I can teach them stuff, but the five people who speak quite fluently and the 15 who are in between also each have things they need help with. How do I even pitch the material?

That, metaphorically, is a big part of why I enjoy therapy. It's a place where the world's expectations don't count.

The Therapy Client Accessory Store has two previously owned couches, still in good shape, to offer at attractive prices

When inquiring ask for couch # 35 or #36

My one hour work day turned into a 3 hour work day. "Oh, Jersey, I know I told you on the phone that you could go as soon as you brought S and L home from school, but do you mind getting lunch ready for them and hang around while I go to the store?" Blah Blah Blah.. Still all in all...at least it was a quick day.

It looks like my T took her facbook down. Course I'm not suppose to know this, cause I'm not suppose to be looking for it. But, I searched her name today and its not there anymore. Probably worried her clients are looking for it. Such as me.

I'm glad it was still at least a short-ish day, Jersey.

I had T this morning. For reasons I don't remember, we got to talking about how I was in my 20s. I had a wild phase for a few years - lots of alcohol and other risky behaviors. It felt like True Confessions. It's embarrassing. Logically, I know that nothing I said makes T think any less of me, but still...

Well you peeps.... I was a brave girl and went to see Pdoc this afternoon. The winds had died down and the roads were clear, so I chanced it and I did ok. I keep asking her when I'll be able to get off the meds and she keeps saying it'll be a while before that will happen. I've been on them for almost 2 years now. Has anyone ever been on their meds for 2 years? It just seem like such a long time.
