(((critter))) (((healed)))
We are closing on April 1, and we found a tolerable rental for one year. I couldn't make a decision on a permanent pissah home. The home we are renting was on the market though, so it's possible we will purchase it if we love it. It's on a lake in a town that I am not familiar with at all, almost an hour from here, but still on the Cape. It's going to be strange getting used to it, as I have been in this area most of my life. (growning up our summer home was in this town too)

hi tiny welcome!!! it is an all you can say kind of thread mostly about being in T but about anything at the same time we talk about our experiances in T as well as in life .right down to what we have had for dinner and the color of our kitchen sink . but mostly it is about suport for whatever. it is always respectful.
just my take on it

Oh I see. Thanks for explaining!

I'm eating pistachios and wishing my T didn't have to go on an Easter break.

My kitchen sink has a rabbit on it. Well, on the dish rack. I shall find a picture....

can i say i am angry today. full of emotion.i think it is because of T today .i am kind of terrified. you would think that it would not be this way anymore!!! surprisingly enough i have told her (kind of) that this is hapening.she says not to worry about that, that it is from old stuff and that stuff isn't hapening now. she said that so matter of factaly.it wasn't like she was dismissive of what is going on but that it was ok and that i was safe and all but it is hard to believe that when the feelings and thoughts i have are so strong and don't go away

No problem

And I did get that sleep, it helped some, now the kids are home so the fun starts all over again Am currently cross because of the excuses they come up with not to eat the lunch I make them. Lovely healthy lunches, I can't imagine why they don't eat them and just want to stuff their faces with crisps......

Yep, me too. In fact, I've been terrified all week but I think I pissed her off.

My sink is steel! So, metal colour. We rent so have no say in it.

Can't do a make up as he is fully booked so he couldn't really take holiday and do make ups. It's okay, I think we've reached a good place and I have one more session before the break. Just going to miss him.

Granite.... you did great...think back 6 months would have even considered going to this retreat then...

you practiced all the skills you knew and you got over the first one... the second one was harder because other people knew you were upset (I personally despise attention when things aren't going perfect).... This would be the perfect thing to talk about with T.... you talk about the successes (and think about all the hours you were there and how many hours you did not get upset.) and talk about what feelings you had and what you could do when you feel that way next time...

My T would be in heaven if I brought that up...

I'm feeling a litte foolish about making an appt now for tonight... My defenses kick in and now I'm fine there isn't any need to be in therapy at all now... let alone need an extra appt...

But I will go and talk about what I was upset about...

Try to focus on the courage it took to go in the first place, Granite. I think the meltdowns are minor compared to that. Plus, you came through them, which is also big.

that is probibly the best thing to do ready and i bet it will be a good session. i bet your T would say you don't always heve to be in crisis to have an extra appointment. use it well is what i bet the expectations would be. you were upset when you made the appointment. i think it is a great idea to talk about that
