I'm thinking she would protest and then someone would stop me.

Exactly. If people knew the truth about her, they would charge ME for the service they rendered in medicating her to death. I'm a horrible person, huh?

You pay on time and they REALLY appreciate that 'cos it's so rare.

I hate myself. I feel like cancelling my appt, but made an agreement with my T that I would ONLY reschedule due to financial reasons and not cancel. I can afford to go, i just don't want to face the embarrassment and shame and everything. AARRGGHH!!

Love to all and hugs to....

T will understand either way, I'm sure.. but maybe by speaking about it here, you want to go... I think.

I'm sorry that you feel it will be uncomfortable.

((( BPA )))

During the times that I don't want to see T, I usually say to myself that by going, I have the opportunity to feel better - whereas not going just leaves me in the same state that I'm in. Hope you're able to work through the feelings that are being stirred up and that T is helpful.

How much plumber's tape in enough? What I put on in the weekend wasn't enough and I just gave it another ten turns.

At what point should I call the plumber?

Survived the One Direction concert. My migraine improved enough to make it tolerable, thank goodness - because I ended up not getting ear plugs in time for the concert. Everything went incredibly smoothly - getting to group, leaving group early, picking up the girls, not hitting much traffic, arriving with time to spare, getting to see one of the band members in the private parking area playing soccer before the show....and getting to our seats without any issue. The girls had a great time, and I enjoyed it too.

I can't hear for s h i t right now though, LOL. It's times like this that I can appreciate the fact that I know sign language. We used quite a bit of it during/after the show because none of us could really hear very well.

Gonna try to get some sleep. Goodnight, couch peeps!

Sounds like a real problem then. I mean, did you find the problem in a book or on the internet and you're following actual steps,, or are you just throwing tape at it?

Ie wwsdd?? What would stop dog do??!

Good morning.
Squirrel...a check register is not optional! The bank makes mistakes you know. There are a lot of programs (free ones) to help manage your finances. One of my favorites is Buddi Buddi - Home. You can't rely on the bank for balance info...things don't always clear right away, and the balance you get is seldom accurate. I can tell you are the type of person to keep a running balance in your head, which is great, but won't serve you well in the future. Using accounting systems is a fantastic habit to get into now, so you will be financially sound when you are older. Keep a close eye on your banks, credit card and investment funds. I recommend striving to have 3 months pay in savings. I know that's easier said then done, but start with $20/week. The most important bill you pay is your savings account.
Sorry if I sound like I am lecturing! I don't mean to, you obviously have a firm grasp on your financial responsibilities. I want you to be sound though, you deserve that.

Nightmares again last night. And I woke up with the dreaded chest pain. So the saga goes..."Is it my heart or is it anxiety?" Grrrr. I hate being mentally ill.

OH...just to add: There are phone aps that can manage your account balances just as well as a pc/mac program. I don't know which are best, just do a little research.
And BTW: the fact that you have a spreadsheet makes me all kinds of happy!

Okay, so I just started a check register. Wiki convinced me.

It was a little difficult to figure out what my current balance is, but I figured it out between my spreadsheet and the online bank balance and purchases that haven't posted yet and checks that haven't cleared yet. I have about 50 bucks until I get paid on Friday for the senior place and Monday for C, but I have 375 in savings (that's where I have been putting my summer pay, so I would have it come time to pay beginning of July bills and I wouldn't spend it by accident). I will transfer it over when it is time to pay bills.

The hardest part for my check register will be the fact that my bank transfers $1 for every debit card purchase and online automatic payment from my checking to my savings. It was a way to keep both of the accounts "free" without a charge for not meeting the minimum balances. So until I transfer those debits back to checking my "true" balance will be slightly different than my check register balance.

nice to know someone listens to me! Squirrel, for all intensive purposes, you can register debit card transactions as a dollar more than what they are in your register. You can also do OLD squirrel a huge favor by balancing your checkbook every month. It's a simple thing really, but a lifesaving habit to get into, when you are old and gray, you will thank yourself for it. When your statement is available, take a half hour to match everything up. You'll be amazed at how many little discrepancies there can be with banks.
