Dang...the couch adds about 20 pages since yesterday afternoon. I got through about 5 pages (playing catch up), but then realized I would not be able to catch up before heading to the senior place (they called last night and asked if I could work today...I told them I had C in the afternoon and would have to leave by 2...she said that was better than nothing and she would take it). Yay...more money to get me through the summer.

Have T tomorrow...have a couple journal entries to share and talk about (where I was pissed at my mom or dad last week). Never used the journal approach before, so it should be a new experience for me. It kept me from obsessing though and sending T multiple emails of my feelings and thoughts as I got uspset or angry. I'm sure that was easier on her.

Wiki...I'm sorry you had to deal with the asshole lady. You deserve better than that. Don't let it upset you too much...just remember that she's a ***** and will get what's coming to her eventually.

Well...I need to get dressed and eat before heading off to work.

I'll try to catch up on the couch later.

I hope everyone has a decent day.

I really tire of people protecting the adults in these situations. Adults have choices, children don't. If I piss off 30 people, and save one child, it's worth it.

Squirrel, I know I have said this already, but it's worth re-saying. I am so impressed by your "go out an do it" attitude. So many people find excuses about why they can't make it work, and here you are pinning together odds and ends jobs and being self-supportive. If I was your parent, I would be SO FREAKING PROUD of you. You are amazing.

MKAC, I'm glad your approach has worked in some cases.

And Wiki, I hear you about being tired of people protecting the adults. Considering I was abused by my parents, I would have wished someone would have stood up to them and shown them that what they were doing was harmful. To this day, my mom doesn't take ownership of her role - it was "what people did back then" and it was "ok" and it was "because I deserved it".

Good morning, couch peeps! Had to run from the computer for a bit.....

I have an assignment today for a couple hours...and another one on Thursday for 3 hours. Not enough hours. But other assignments might come up during the week. We'll see.

I won't be working tomorrow or Wednesday cuz I'll be taking my daughter and niece to a One Direction concert tomorrow night, and then my niece will be sleeping over and spending the day with us at the pool on Wednesday. Should be a fun time for the girls.

I decided I'm not cancelling my T session tomorrow morning. Last session, T revisited the rupture we had and shared his perspective....and I totally got the vibe that he feels like he is not going to be useful to me anymore. My plan is to revisit the rupture from my perspective and have us try to come up with a mutual understanding of things. I can then decide after tomorrow's session whether or not I will keep or cancel my Thursday session. It may not be necessary since we're holding off on trauma work til he gets back from his vacation.

Lots of plans for this week, which is a good thing.

Hope everyone has a great Monday!

I agree lesbians commandeer all the best stuff. Comfy shoes, flannel shirts, short hair, no make up, trucks and power tools. I can remember a time when all of those things just meant you were a farm girl. LOL. I have a friend who said that she went to college in another State and had no issue with coming out. Everyone just sort of knew she was a lesbian. When she came back to our little community, she had to tell everyone because we all just assumed she dressed like that because she had been doing something on the farm.
not so sure i want stop to be messing with many power tools .i like her and want her around .now that seems like a dangerous situation.(flashes back to blow torches)

healed, you were in my dream last night. LOL. You kept flipping your pony tail in my face for some reason and walking off. It was a really weird dream and I have no idea why you just randomly appeared.

I love blow torches and I agree SD is accident prone so should avoid anything that would cost long term body damage.

Healed was it hot outside?

Blow torching is super fun. I recommend it.
I am not accident prone. I am a victim of accidents. They seek me out.

Did I tell anybody that I told T on Friday (finally) the other trauma that happened to me when I was a child? I did, that is one of the reasons why we went over on time. And it must be one of the reasons why I really, really, want to talk to him today. I have swung from I am too needy, too burdensome for him, to too yucky to talk to him ever again and wanting to cancel our next appointment.. To, I need to talk to him RIGHT NOW!

No. Partner privilege.
Which is good because she keeps hiding my power tools and becomes slightly unhinged when I try new and exciting things.

Perplexed. It made me feel perplexed. It was sort of "what the hell, Healed? I'm just standing here." And then, "why is Healed here? Doesn't she live in a different state?" Followed by, "she's wearing that exact same outfit as in that photo she posted on PC that one time. That's funny."
