Hello couch. Just checking in. I gotta go back and catch up. Busy busy day. Worked from 7am then came home and cleaned then had the following conversation with my H:

ME: H, take a look at my hand. I think I burned it from the cleaning chemicals.
(Then I showed him my hand that appears to be burnt. It's charcoal gray with cracks in it)

Him: let me see. (Looks at hand) oh, it appears very discolored.

Me: Yes. I think I need medical assistance.

Him: oh well, you will survive. Nothing we can do. Obviously since you just showered-water won't help.

Me: that's why I need medical assistance

Him: Nothing we can do.

Thanks everyone for your input re my bill situation. I'll write her an email again outlining my situation and attach my income statement. I'm trying so hard to be pro-active but as you all know it's difficult.

Jersey what chemicals and or combination of chemicals were you using?

Barkeepers Friend, Lysol anti bacterial kitchen cleaner, vinegar mutil surface cleaner and windex.

I think that makes hydrochloric acid. Did you rinse it off? Did it form a gas? I googled it and it said to make a baking soda paste. You really cant mix bleach (lysol) with anything else, or the barkeepers friend stuff.

I rinsed it off really well, took a shower as well.
