Kickstarter? It is the only one of those sorts of sites that I know about.

YES! Kickstarter. I could not think of that name. I appreciate your help.

While I'm getting help, anyone know how to get caked on, dried, wet cat food out of tiny kitten fur? I have another litter of orphan kittens, and while my MIL had them, a couple of them belly-flopped in wet cat food and now a week later, it is STILL stuck in their fur. I have tried a warm, wet washcloth, over and over. I have tried a soft toothbrush. Nothing is getting this stuff off them. I think I will use wet cat food the next time I want to cement something in place. This stuff doesn't budge.

Coming home from the pool this morning, a bat flew into my carport right in front of me, and landed on the step railing where he hung out for about 10 minutes. I took a couple pics. He's a cute little guy. He slid down the railing, then crawled down the wall and then underneath a dented soda can and fell asleep. I scooped him up with a little plastic shovel (he woke up and grabbed the shovel with his lil feet and opened his wings but didn't try to fly) and put him in an open box up on a high shelf in the carport, so he will be safe while I figure out who to call. I'm pretty sure there's a wild animal rescue here where I live so am looking them up.
Thanks for this!

What the eff is up with people telling other posters they "guarantee" something about someone else's therapist. I do hope no one tries to guarantee something at me.

Trigger warning for discussion of animal death and physical illness.

So I finally called to make the appointment with the vet for my elderly horse and to arrange for the gravedigger to come by after that. The gravedigger is a true to life gravedigger for humans and he is really sweet about doing my horses. He makes the hole a perfect rectangle and is very careful about moving them. Fell apart on the phone with the vet though. So stressed and upset and now I have a bloody nose. ugh. I wish I could express emotions like a normal person and not have weird physical things happen when I get really upset. At least I'm not throwing up yet, but I know that will come by the time it's over. My vet is kind of used to though. I appear super calm, hold it together for the animal and then walk away and puke.

MKAC - sorry about your horse. It is such a hard, but very humane thing to do.

Well, I am probably about to email T an email that may mess up our T relationship, but I have to do it.

I understand. I have had to refrain from reading/responding a lot recently.

Just feeling like an all around horrible person. I do not present myself the way I intend or the way I think I am. And the newest litter of kittens are a huge time suck and stressful to have to feed every 3-4 hours around the clock, and I feel guilty for how much work they are for my H as well. We had a check in marriage counseling appointment last night and spent the whole time talking about the kittens, the neighbor girl, and my H's resentment about the kittens, but not the things we are planning to do for the kid, and to me, they are part of the same thing. Then there's my horse. I spent last night trying to pay tons of attention to him and make him feel better by scratching him all over, and instead was just sobbing on his shoulder and the poor sick guy ends up comforting me -- nuzzling me and wrapping his neck around me. Was up until 3 unable to sleep and now I have a horrible headache. I am so pathetic. whine whine whine. I need to boot my butt out of my current self pity party and go work.

i got back on facebook.

why do i get back? it's usually okay but sometimes i end up with people i want to punch. so. i "walked away" but sadly the urge to punch them has not disappeared.

i'm supposed to go see a friend tonight. but suddenly i don't want to because i want punch this other person, not my friend. some random person i hardly know.

I'll be calling t in 30 mins. We haven't talked for 2 weeks, and I really don't feel the need to talk today. I guess I should talk about that....

I'm sure this won't interest anyone, and I certainly wouldn't create a thread on the psychotherapy page but for those who were interested I have posted the poem my T read to me on Monday. Here is link:
