Well, the position of senior cat IS open, but junior cat has a number of issues that prevent his promotion, mostly that he just doesn't take feedback well and is kind of unprofessional - he sleeps with the boss, after all!
Thanks for this!

It sounded to me more like he was sleeping with his secretary.

Actually I think his title for me is "general factotum."

Factotum is neuter in Latin.

Those picture things, particularly the blinky ones, hurt my eyes. And I never ever understand what they mean.

Have you ever busted a watch crystal on an regular thick outdoorsy timex? I did earlier today when I hit my wrist on the table I was walking past. They don't make them like they used to.

No - it is a few years old and new ones go on sale all the time for around $20 and it still works - just hard to see. I suppose I could replace the crystal or go to a watch place/jewelers. I was more like "wow, I just whacked the snot out that"

Oooh, general! Prolly if a neuter does the same job as a woman, the neuter gets paid more too.

There are videos on youtube on how to replace the crystals. But it might be that a whole new watch is cheaper (crystal replacement at a shop - $35. New timex on sale - $20)

The cat pays me squat. Less than squat is...squat! No benefits either except he claims petting him lowers my blood pressure.

You get to bask in his glorious presence.
Clearly you may need a cat minion refresher course.

Couldn't OR wouldn't?
Someone didn't try hard enough, now did they?
I think cat who does not sound junior at all needs to sleep with his tail across your face tonight and we will hope after that, you have learned a lesson.
