BunYip, I think I'm about to be in the same boat (car?) as you. My truck started violently shaking this morning while I was driving. It feels and sounds like a flat tire, but there aren't any flat tires. Symptoms indicate many things, from a stuck emergency brake cable to many suspension components being broken. Consensus says get it to the shop pronto. My wallet says "drive it til the wheels fall off."

All that to say I'm sorry to hear about your extra costs at the shop. I hope you get your freedom back again soon!!

oh crocus, it makes me sad to see how you read rejection in everything. i think all she was saying is that you can make it through the sadness...though when people say "you are stronger than you think," i do internally roll my eyes at them, so i do understand how maybe you could see that statement as invalidating.

DD1's foot is swollen much worse today. The bruising and swelling make her foot look much like my mother's did, and it has triggered massive amounts of guilt.

I have officially been in therapy too long. Today, I got up from my desk for break and as I was walking to the restroom had 2 thoughts. Thought #1: "I cannot stand her!" (the gal that sits next to me who I find a loud and obnoxious know-it-all.) Thought #2 immediately on the heels of Thought #1: "What is it that I hate about myself, that I am projecting on her instead?"

I can totally see the ****-eating grin on t's face.

I am just me, soakin' up the Arizona sun. (Except for it's been raining the past few days. And, some jackwipe threw broken glass in our pool, so it's closed for 3 weeks while they drain it and get all the glass out, fix what the glass broke, and refill it.)

Adulting is so hard. So many problems at once. I feel on the verge of disaster.
