People seem to like their pumpkin latte stuff (I have never tasted it) - I don't think they would hurl it at anyone. Maybe the empty cups.

I am seriously depressed, and that is not even factoring in tonight's debate between the two most loathsome presidential candidates in US history.

Not at any poster specifically but more because it seems like a popular sort of thing recently to post about- but I think politics will get the thread closed. I think there is a specific area for current events on another part of the site. I could be wrong, but I think it is in the directions for the site.

I don't see how it is any different than other life events that cause deep depression that people post about here. but whatever, i have never felt all that welcome here. fml

And i think a mention in passing is okay. Its not like we're debating the debate. Lester Holt - i bet Brian Williams is pooping his pants right now, but good for Lester - another detroit boy makes good. Nothing brian said is HALF as egregious as probably either candidate, and yet hes out and they are in. He missed it by this . much. The climate has changed that much. Oh THAT climate change.

The second one I see does not read/listen to the news or keep up with politics either. I find it good to know there will be no mention of anything of that nature from her.

Rain last night and finally today is going to be under 85 degrees. I can open up the windows without having my middle dog act as though I am baking him.

Mine is volunteering for hillary, registering people to vote on campus. I dont know what his game is! I think he has too much fun!

In passing it seems to be okay - it is not like one of the candidates has not often been joked about on the Couch.

Usually when I have a night class - I only have students trying to watch baseball or basketball on their computers during class. Now I will have one more thing for them to be distracted by. I will have ban laptops for the next two months altogether.

I know - that is what is concerning me.
It was getting to be more and more. And not everyone agrees.

But fortunately the regular baseball season ends next weekend.

And then there's just a month of playoff games.

On a lighter note, a friend is taking me to see bridget joneses baby this afternoon.

I don't know if the team here is in it or not. I have no idea if they have won or lost yet.

Bridget Jones is having a baby? Like that kid isn't going to grow up without anxiety problems, narcissistic tendencies, and body image issues.

I was just informed I have won a gift basket from a contest I entered at a higher-end grocery near here during their Hallowenpolooza thingee.

There were several prizes available. My gift basket comes from a company called "P&C"
Don't know what that is, but I'll let you know! I won't be back to that part of town until Saturday.

Hint: I always fold one corner of the entry before submitting it. That makes it easier to pick up.

Bridget jones was okay. I laughed a few times. I especially liked when the italian pizza guy said, in the movie, who puts pineapple on their pizza?! I guess its NOT an italian thing to do! I felt vindicated.

Haven't seen the movie, but a clip I saw made me lol, her mom asked if she had a three-way. I would have keeled over if my mom talked to me like that!
