I'm craving cake, so I'll bring a variety to the couch party. What a great idea trail runner!

We could turn the volume down on the tv and watch the ball fall in Times Square, unless someone else has an idea.

There's no way I will be able to stay up that late, but I am happy to fall asleep in a corner of the couch!

Happy new year everyone. My throat is rather sore today. I didn't realise I'd been shouting over people and music quite as much as I must have been last night.

So we went to the party last night, I had every intention of leaving early like by 8:30pm because of having to be at work at 7:30 this morning. I guess it's true what they say about intentions and the road to hell being paved with 'em... ha ha... we stayed until after midnight, I had SO much fun it was just exactly what I needed!! Drank too much, got pretty wild & crazy, we played this card game called "Cards Against Humanity" and well, there were a few cards I considered off-limits and put them back if I got them, and it's pretty wrong all the way around, but.... dang, we had so much fun. I have not laughed so much in one sitting in I don't know how long. My face still hurts this morning from laughing so much.

This morning I am thinking that I am likely going to cancel the appt t made for 1/7 and not go back. Is it really possible to just wake up one morning and decide you are done with a t that you've had what you thought was a good t-relationship with for over 5 years?! It all feels so fake to me now after the other day, everything, all of it. I feel liberated somehow. I don't think this is how therapy is supposed to end, but honestly the way things were going, I am not sure there is any other way. She was never going to let me go. So I feel like I have to take a stand and leave without giving her a chance to reel me back in. I'm not going to cancel until the required 48 hours before, just to make sure I don't do it rashly, but this is what I see happening. I want to explain my reasons to her, I feel like she deserves to know because she has honestly helped me SO much over the years. But it's gonna be on her dime, not mine, I will write her a letter.

It's the start of a new year, I feel like I have changed since that last session, and I just don't think I can go back. I'm going to try life without a t for awhile.

It's not happy here. I am so over 2017.

happy new year. im going to try to pretend its any other day. my T told me to try that since i dont like holidays. i dont know how long that will last though, because i have to go to work later. you cant really escape holidays...they are all pretty much thrown in ones face constantly.

on friday at work i felt pretty bad, but i somehow made it through it. i was helping a woman on a self-checkout machine... i had to manually enter a coupon. there is a coupon slot on the machine with a sensor inside of it that can detect when a coupon is dropped into it. i needed to set the sensor off even tho i didnt have a real coupon. usually i rip off some receipt paper and stick it in there but this time i just stuck my middle finger in it. well it got pretty stuck. i was trying to not make the customer aware of what was going on... that my finger was stuck in this stupid coupon slot. i ended up just jerking it out and it took skin off my knuckle. its funny to think back on i guess..

i also had a new ring and i lost it at work. i felt bad about that bc it felt like that ring was the only thing keeping me happy

anyway i hope everyone has a good day or a decent one, or not a totally bad one

I think I have found the solution to my inability to stop eating ice cream after I open a pint. (Why learn self control now? )

I am currently enjoying their oatmeal cookie flavor.

I spent the morning trying to use tapatalk app trying to log in to pc.. then I got smarter and decided to pull my new laptop out. Hope everyone had a safe and fun New Years eve... We have one more day of vacation tomorrow and then it is back to the normal schedule starting Tuesday.

Ohh, will have to look into that brand!!

I loves me some halo top! Some flavors of Arctic Zero are pretty good too, esp if you microwave them for a tiny bit - it really makes it creamy.

Only problem is, it is disgustingly expensive!

My supermarket checkout keeps giving me free halo top coupons. So I cashed three in this morning.

I tried Arctic Zero too but didn't microwave it.

Well that will just about pay for my bus ticket! I'll be right over!

Just found that recently too--isn't it amazing?? I've only tried the oatmeal cookie flavor so far as I have to check the ingredients to make sure it doesn't contain stuff I can no longer eat.

I know someone who is addicted to ice cream and I really worry about her liver. She said she quit doing it after 6 months' straight. She started to look grey.

-Smoothie with coconut milk + pumpkin puree + pumpkin pie spice

Getting sick of smoothies but my choice of comfort foods has dwindled with my new way of eating (vegan).
