Couch 129: The Semiprime Couch

What CE wrote was quite poetic. Since SD is not here, I'm just getting all the ACKS in for her so she is not overwhelmed with A need to ACK when she gets back.

I'm trying to write my "Dear DBC" email. And trying to remember that brevity is the soul of wit.

I'm also tempted to send her a copy of Hamlet as a goodbye present.

I think things said by Couch members get Oh good lords, not Acks. Gross things like hugging your therapist get Acks.

SD-ese is nearly as hard to understand as una-ese.

Son's new box spring was just delivered, so he's sleeping in a bed up off the floor again. I think perhaps I stand corrected and that h was right about this one - son insisted for months that he liked sleeping on just the mattress on the floor, but when he laid on the bed with a box spring again for the first time he got a big ol' smile on his face.

H just turned the Super Bowl on. Time for me to go upstairs and watch TV. I don't care for football. However, I do enjoy puppy bowl.

I was in a car accident last week. Just me. Hit a car and a tree and knocked out a streetlight! Parking near my house. Police say my foot hit gas pedal instead of brake. I feel like gas pedal went out of control. I didn't get ticket. It was so fast! I hurt my hand but haven't gotten an x-ray yet. I don't think it's broken. I have an oldish car so maybe it's considered totalled. Will find out tomorrow. Did anyone ever do this? I do not have a Toyota. It happened once before, and seemed like just lurched by itself. Very scary!!

It will feel out of control and like lurching when you hit the gas pedal thinking it's the brake pedal. Stops your heart. I'm glad you're okay, rainbow.

Okay...finally happy with my Dear DBC letter. But having trouble hitting send. Who wants to hold my hand while I do it?

I'm glad you are physically okay Rainbow. That could've potentially caused a lot of injuries. I have a Nissan Rouge and drove straight into a street light post once/knocking it down. When I called the police-they couldn't understand how it happened-considering I drove straight out of a driveway and then straight into the street light post. I felt as though I didn't have control of my car, but when I went to get it fixed..they couldn't find anything wrong with the pedals or there wasn't a short or anything. It happened years ago and of course there was not a law suit involved or anything but I still insist and stand by the fact that I didn't have any control of my car when it happened.

I hope one of the two I have scheduled the next two days or Cactus Woman, next week, shows some promise. On the other hand, maybe therapists aren't worth the angst they bring.

I wonder that myself at times, but it's worth it to go and see if they have potential.
