I like ben and jerry's cherry garcia and the one with nuts and white and dark chocolate in it - I don't know the name. I don't usually like stuff mixed into ice cream -but I do like those two. I like hagan daz dulce de leche and my own homemade ice cream for everything else.
I like ice cream un-melted - I do like soft serve but not melty

I just made myself feel better by leaving a bad review on yelp for the hospital where my person died. It is a horrible hospital - but she liked her mds and it is connected to the university where we teach.

L asked me for a lot today: I'm supposed to email the artistic director for financial help, some contracting guy about summer concert opportunities, some people who were thinking of starting a concert series with me about firming up plans, the conductor begging for my job back after I forgot that rehearsal.

Stuff I wasn't doing because I don't think I deserve the help or performance opportunities. Then she wants me to email her tonight confirming I've done it.

Coming home the reaction is "why can't she just let me go"
It's like I just want to be a wreck. It's all I know how to be.

When I ate dairy products, it was gelato all the way. Salted vanilla caramel. I sometimes added roasted almonds to it.

I'm a big fan of sorbet (which is nondairy, I guess). Haagen Dazs mango sorbet? Yes, please! (And then I can tell myself I'm eating fruit!)

I am constantly dizzy - I am assuming Cymbalta withdrawal. Also hyperhidrosis. Both of whom make me physically uncomfortable and thus angry.

I've been in a bad mood all week. Boss father is off work and God for bid he come help when both babies are screaming at the same time. He's a good dad. Truly, but the babies are having a roughy day and the man won't throw me a bone and come help. It's not like he's working from home. He's not working this week. He's off. Why can't he help out. I guess I didn't ask that in the most effective way though when he came up from the basement and I said "Did you not hear your babies screaming crying for the past 25 minutes?"

Also trigger for TMI

I've been spotting since last Thursday. I'm not supposed to bleed at all and haven't in 2 years. My hormones are completely out of whack. Insurance payed to screw up my body but they won't pay for hormone replacement therapy to help with the symptoms.

Rant over. Breathe Jersey. Just breathe. Just 6 more hours till the work day is done. Can't believe only 4 hours have gone by.

I can't wait for allergy season to be done with. I have bad allergies to mold/dust/fragrance but usually I don't get pollen-related ones at all... this year it feels like I'm breathing through one of those plastic coffee stirrers

I got so dizzy I had to leave yoga class halfway through. Think it's bed for the rest of the day.

Eta: "According to Lilly's own analysis of the Cymbalta studies, after a two week withdrawal period, over 50% of patients were still experiencing withdrawal side effects." Jeez.

I am allergic to proteins in dairy products - so my new favorite is Ben and Jerrys Dairy free Carmel almond brittle - softened but not melty. It looses something when it melts.

I should not be eating ice cream. I want ice cream. And cake. Bad SM! I'm going to resist so I expect a gold star. Sometimes piety has to be it's own reward. Bummer!

Not to enable but..... maybe that gold star for no ice cream right now could be... ice cream later?

(Or a sorbet, or some fancy fruit, or tasty smoothie!)

I feel your pain. I'm on my second round of steroids to battle asthma right now due to allergies. In fact, my doctor called me in yesterday morning because I was having an attack that my rescue inhaler wasn't touching. He did chest x-rays because he heard crackling in my lungs and wanted to be sure I hadn't developed pneumonia just to add to the fun. Fortunately, just really crappy asthma right now, so I'm on several more aggressive inhalers now and actually feel more human today. This is concert week for me (Elgar's Dream of Gerontius), and I'm trying to get enough voice back and rid myself of the coughing so I can perform. Rehearsal last night wasn't too terrible, so I think I'll be in decent shape by Friday night. Orchestra rehearsals tonight and tomorrow night, so hopefully I'll be in good shape.

Oh geez that sounds really miserable LG hopefully the horny trees will get it out of their system soon

And if you hear wheezing and snuffling from the viola section spare a thought for Anais
