Couch 143: The Mr. Rogers Love Transformation

Met with lawyer. Everything should be OK, just take a few months longer than expected - but it means he should be out if my life forever (legally anyway). He knows future ex's lawyer from law school and as someone more interested in resolution than in fighting in court. (Future ex may well be the opposite, of course.)

Apparently by paying for storage unit, phone, etc., for so long I have made myself look like a Very Reasonable Person. And judges like that.

Now I need to go to the storage unit and Verizon to finish la disentanglements.

I was really sick once and had a contrast CT done ( where they inject medication into your vein and it highlights your organs). I was super high on pain meds . The tech gave me the injection and forgot to put the cap bavk on my iv catheter. He stepped out and started the machine and it started spinning and blood was flowing out of my arm and spraying all over the CT machine like one of those spinning paint craft things they had in the 80s. I was so high I was like "whoa! A show!"
Then the tech comes running back in and I realize my arm was soaked with blood etc.
Bet the next staff meeting did not go well for that tech

I just don't see the point in living for other people?

Communication has only happened through my attorney for over eight months now. And it didn't happen at all for four months before that.

And I suspect he hired an attorney because I did cut off one account, and my lawyer informed him he no longer got a free ride on the storage unit and phone once the decree was final.

But if he can afford an attorney, he can go **** himself. Pity party's over.

I would like to contact a therapist for some extra support, but Morticia is so new and CW is...CW.

Darn you CW. Today you have to be all sweet and reasonable and thoughtful and supportive and smart. It was like what ATAT thinks a therapist should be. It was in fact very No. 3-ish at her best.

Both my rotator cuffs are torn and need surgery but this is new. Got kicked in the forearm a few days ago by a patient. No fractures but with each day that goes by I lose more function in my hand. Dr said nerve is damaged. No change by Monday then I need to see a hand specialist.

Seriously - two worked so much better for me than just one - they each had different strengths that worked so much better for me.

Hi all, I think I might be starting to get out of the grouchy stage of things and have my head screwed on a little bit more. Is there any way to forbid a T from taking another vacation? This one didn't work for me at all...
