Yeah, my T mentioned something similar. I stll don' tknow what I am going to do. I've spent most of this weekend sleeping, and had a crazy long dream/nightmare last night about the end of the world as we know it. I woke up at 5 bc that is when the cats NEED to be fed, and had to take ibuprofen and ice my jaw because it was so sore and swollen from grinding my teeth.

ugh. and i get to go to the dentist on tuesday for a check up that is a year and a half overdue. i know i have at least 2 cavities.

So, what would you do...

... if you were a parent and you knew your kid had upcoming exams... would you ask your kid about it? Would you just hope for your kid to tell you? Would you wish luck?

... id you're the kid, how would you tell? "Hi parent, we haven't talked in 2months but I want you to know I have exams starting ..."? And then feel bad because you're not getting a response or feel bad because you get a response but didn't expect one? Or just wait for parent to ask and feel guilty for excluding them?

Trying to figure out what normal behavior would be here...

My puppy is not well. He was up all night restless and vomiting and now he is just lying my bed. He looks so sad.

For the past three or four days I've been feeling light-headed and making mistakes. My blood glucose is normal (for a diabetic). Could this be related to dieting?

It could be related to diet. Whenever you change things like diet, exercise, sleep, etc, it throws your body out of homeostasis. Your body isn't conditioned to handle what you're putting into it, which is actually better for you. That's why dieting is so hard. People think that it's all mental, but your body actively fights against change. Just stick it out though, CE.

Happy to give your arse a kick but I'm gonna avoid like, having my foot go like, "up" there, if that's ok

I had to go into a govt disabilty office this morning when I got there the builders working in the building had cut off the disabled parking spaces and the disabled access ramps...wtf? The staff said they had many complaints but they are waiting to hear from the project manager who is responsible for providing alternate disability access.

Also while I was in social security office in the next cubicle someone wanted to apply for childcare payments so she could place her child in a childcare centre while she looked for work. The worker asked her why she wanted childcare when she wasnt currently working?

Actually I just realized this is the first painting I've done in fifteen years. Weird to think about.

I am reading Roxane Gay's Hunger. I cry during movies sometimes, but I don't think I have ever cried through a book the way I'm crying through this one.

For whatever reason one of the books I grabbed for my few weeks away was Joan Didion's Year of Magical Thinking. Started it last night... big mistake. I'm not sure I can make it through. I might have leave it on the curb for someone else.
