Morning, Kenzie! I might have some coffee today. Definitely don't want to go to work this morning.

Morning Daisy... So I'll introduce myself. I'm a 36 year old mom and wife, marriedfor the past 13 years, and "living" with undiagnosed PTSD for since I was first attacked at around age 16. I am basically a big mess all the time, but keep it "together" by focusing on what is good in my life and not the chaos. Having a couch to chill on is very comforting.

I'm irritated by vacation T. Really irritated. And I can't even name why.

I keep myself incredibly busy, then Murphy throws more curve balls. And I duck, sometimes run but mostly I stay busy. Not hard w/3 kids. What about you Demunie?

Yes... T wanted me to make appointments with her because I didn't do well during his last vacation...

Probably... And she shares so much about her... I know 10x more about her after 5 sessions than I do about regular T after 2 years...
And I think she has some problems of her own. I totally want to take care of her and ask her...

Wow. Degree of self disclosure can really depend on each client. What did she say which leads you to think she has problems? *curious*

Nothing specific... Just her appereance over all, body language. She doesn't seem aware of how much she's sharing, she seems unsure and sometimes a bit overstrained. Also all her ball point pens are missing this thing... You know the one you can use to pin the pen to a piece of paper? Uh. I don't even know the word in German. Or French. The "clip to paper thing"

I'm not sure if he self-discloses. I can't say I know a lot about him... But something. What is "too much"?

You're a perceptive person I sometimes fail to read body language or pick up on how others might be feeling because I'm focused on worrying how I come across. Or maybe my T is good at being hard to read because she...just comes across as attentive and focused nearly all the time.

Would bringing up your concern help? With ex T, I would feel I had to caretake and she had to remind me she cab care for herself. Then when her pregnancy progressed, I grew more concerned though she never self disclosed personal issues except that pregnancy made it hard for her to concentrate.

Edit: lol,I don't know what that part of the pen is called either!

In my opinion... When you start worrying about him, try to help him... Things are more about him than you.

I guess. T is hard to read too, which is part of why I adore him... It's unusual that people are "too hard to read" for me. Also, he can put up with my crap and calls me out on it. Vacation T definitly doesn't
I doubt that talking about it would help though. She can't change her body language etc.,
Btw - However you do come across... I'm sure you're a very nice person.

Hopefully your T gets back soon. How do you all deal with triggers? I was "self medicating" with drugs and alcohol, ever since it happened almost 20 years ago. Up until last year, I had been on prescription pain and anxiety meds. All they did was keep me from confronting the true cause of my depression and fear. Ugh, I don't know what to do. I no longer do drugs, that's been 14 years. And I don't drink hardly at all.
