I need to go grocery shopping. Have no breakfast foodstuffs in the house. Well there are some frozen hashbrown thingies in the freezer but meh. I'm in an eggs and bacon kind of mood. Off to the store with me...

Depends on how you define violence and against whom. There were at least animal sacrifices—which several ancient cultures did regard as murder, hence all the care taken (by chicanery) to ensure the sacrificial animal was “willing.”

I meant that it is not a celebration based on celebrating or memorializing a death. Never mind. I guess anything involving humans is going to be crap.

I think I might upgrade T2 to T and just refer to T1 as THE TWAT from now on...

Well, that was somewhat inspired by Daisy's RoboT, too--plus of course Luco's suggestion.

In the interests of fairness I feel I must also state at this juncture that "THE TWAT" is a name given to him by Demunie!

I am remembering my last session, talking about getting a cat, that my therapist said if someone with cat allergies visits her home, she gives them an allergy pill to take rather than displace the cat.

My cat lives here - if someone has allergies all that bad - we meet elsewhere.

I agree with Demunie: he is a twat.
I also agree with your therapist, ruh roh. It's the cat's house as much as the humans.

I'm not sure if I'm back yet really, but hello just the same.

Does anyone else watch QI? I thought Sandi Toksvig got to a great start last year but maybe it's the guests I thought David Mitchell was awing up version of himself. It may just be the producers

I don't think we have QI here. I have never heard of it.

It's abritish quiz show about interesting facts with different panel guests mainly comedians and comedies actors. Used to be hosted. By Sstephen Fry. Every year they pick a letter of the alphabet they are up to 'O' now. Or maybe they are struggling to find sufficient interesting facts. I can't wait to the X series

I like QI, though I don’t think I’ve seen it since season J. It’s clever and funny (especially when David Mitchell is on), SD, you might like it.

But didn’t they replace Stephen Fry? How is that going?

Sandi Toksvig took over in series N and was brilliant and showed lots of promise. This year it's all a bit flat and the guests are more restrained or puerile depending. I think it might be a director thing I don't now but this year is a bit meh

I hope everyone is doing well.

Possible trigger:

I feel like R really heard me last session and I felt more connected to him- but I'm aware of this very strong urge to walk away from him and to be so damn mean and nasty and tell him that I hate him- just after I've bought him a present for Christmas . After almost a year in therapy the old me would have already sent him a termination letter and turned up to our next session very very angry and lashed out, but the new me will not act up and just tell him the above. That is progress ! There's also a lot of small other things but I feel like I've been tamed in a sense- I still get upset but I've realized I I'm not experiencing my old rages or even going up as high on my anger scale anymore. I feel more rational & less emotional.
