It’s not therapy. It’s you.
They rarely are willing to admit that to themselves or to clients.

Rarely admit it? I'd say "never admit it"

Good! Based on my experience, you'd have probably had side effects by now if you were going to. They tended to hit me within the first couple days if I was going to have them, then some would fade after a week or two of adapting (except a couple, like the intense anxiety with Prozac).

Turned down a job offer today.
I have a second offer but I'm also not thrilled with that one either, I'll have to do my best to fake happy and make it through the holiday season with it. I hate not being able to do what I love for work.

My Pdoc gave me clearance to start fertility treatment! She's going to reduce down my Lamotrigine every 2 weeks instead of every 4 weeks. That means I'll be off it in 3 months. The other Pdoc was going to make me wait 6 months! I asked my Pdoc if I can just stay with her, and she said yes! (I was supposed to switch to the new Pdoc because I no longer have a pcp with the clinic.)

Now all I need to do is get clearance from an ob/gyn, a perinatologist, get blood work back, stop smoking for a month, get my ultrasound done and deal with the cyst if it's there, and then I can finally start IVF!

Netflix’s “The Haunting of Hill House” terrified me in the first few minutes, as it should. Though I wish they hadn’t put in a “Shirley” character to stand in for Jackson, who even looks like the young Jackson.

And of course one of the main characters is a loony child psychologist who talks a lot about “drawing boundaries.” Every time someone complains about something, she says “boundaries.”

I ran into some clickbait article that said people were passing out of fright from that show. It wasn't THAT scary. It had its moments though. I really enjoyed it.

That's good news with the pdoc. What's your current dose for the lamotrigine? So just two more ok's needed- you're making progress!

Maybe Netflix shares the same writers when it comes to loopy T's, using the show Gypsy as reference.

Session with R yesterday. He said I kept trying to push him away and I was succeeding. I was sabotaging therapy by missing sessions and this had been going on since my break in september and that i'd been withdrawing. He wanted to see me each week, and didn't work every other week. If I couldn't agree then maybe it was best to terminate before the Christmas break by the 18th of December.

Even after close to two years I don't feel like I can trust him. I can feel huge amounts of resistance which has been here for a while now. With the idea of seeing him weekly, I feel trapped and like I don't have a choice. Or maybe it's just the realization that I've been seeing him for so long but parts of me are still the same. My last relationship with my friends only lasted 2.5 years but even now 18 months later I'm still not "over it". I don't see the point in getting even more attached if I'm just going to lose him later on.

I just needed to get that now, and now I have to get ready for my 8.20am Stomatology seminar.

I'm currently on 250mg. Was at 300mg almost 2weeks ago. So I'll start 200mg soon. She actually doesn't want me off of Lamotrigine because she knows it keeps me stable, but she's willing to compromise because the other doctors are worried. She said if/when I start feeling my symptoms, to let her know and well figure out something else... possibly uping my Abilify. She told me that soon as she has the okay, she's putting me right back on it. She thinks that maybe after the first trimester or the second? Whenever the baby has developed it's parts that the medication affects.
