Hmm. Well, maybe someone could come talk to you and your therapist about it. I remember C's previous therapist kept asking her if she wanted her to get this psychologist lady who worked with the police to come talk to C about how the police could help with a certain situation. Maybe even an advocate could come answer your questions if it's not an interview.

That would be nice. I don't want to do this alone. I know my T asked me if it would help if he did something...problem is I zoned out and have no clue what he was saying after that.

I decided to talk to another friend last night about T. Well, he lives in another country and I'm actually more friends with his husband but since they married, I'm kinda friends with both. I had told his husband that I went to therapy but not much beyond that, last night this guy was online and I just messaged him to catch up and talked about how I'm sad and struggling. I was scared to tell him because I don't think people get it.... and he was really supportive. He felt bad for me with how this happened and he (like most of the people who know my story and know me) have hope for the future.
While I'm realistic and know it''s probably not gonna happen in any form, it's nice to know that the small group of people I did talk to about it, are not judgemental, and they are ok with whatever would happen with T and I (friends or whatever) and even say that if he makes me happy, it's all that matters to them.

I'm glad I chose to tell him, and I told him he could share with hubby. I like them but it sucks we rarely talk and only meet up every 3 or 4 years.

They used to have carrot cake m&ms at easter. I liked those, but they don't do them anymore. Probably for the best.

I had a horrific nightmare about one of my previous dogs. She fell into a street gutter - except this was no ordinary gutter. It was extremely deep. I couldn't really see the bottom, but I knew there was one, and I knew my sweet girl was going to land eventually and die. She kept bouncing off small ledges in the side, which slowed her down and gave me some hope that maybe she wouldn't die, but it was pretty hopeless as she was falling the height of a skyscraper. I think I woke up before she landed. I think she just kept falling and falling in the nightmare. The dread was terrible. This one was even worse than the nightmare I had a long time ago when she was still living where I was slowly running over her with my car and was powerless to stop it. In that one, she somehow ended up ok in the end.

I never thought hot cross buns had any flavor to begin with, except sweet. Arent they more of a texture / temperature thing? Which is the antithesis of the m&m.

Yes, but I don't like them as much. I like the candy coating on m&ms. And the kisses taste too sweet to me. But that's fine... I'm glad I'm not really tempted to buy them.

It's raining here and chilly, h and I just got done in Costco and have one more grocery stop then home. After working my OT earlier i tried to log onto school but the web site is down! Grr. Oh well. I am over stressing about it. Last night after I calmed down I looked up the withdrawal date and I have til april-something to withdraw and not have to worry about my grade hurting my gpa. Talked w h and he said whatever I need to do, he's not upset about losing the money. He said "I've lost more than that gambling before, so what the heck. It's just money." So I'll see how I do on the 1st exam this month before I make a decision.

I wish I understood why I get so crazy over grades/school. I'll have to reflect on that.

update from yesterday:
T called shortly before I was to leave for grandson's house. We had a good ~10 min talk. When I got there, I found out that my dad couldn't make it after all so only my mom (and husband) was there. So was my daughter's husband's parents and grand parents. It was awkward I think for everyone.

I focused on my grandson, even leaving the group to play with him in his bedroom. This was only family and no other kids were there. It was good to be with him. I miss him at times so much.

the long story of my life altering event....nothing really bad in trigger, just long and for some reason I feel the need to say it again as part of the processing or go through it again.
Possible trigger:

Is the dangerousness based on the type or quantity?

Artie, you might want to make sure you are totally clear on the withdraw thing. At my university, you can withdraw from the 2nd-7th week of the semester and get a W, which doesn't affect your GPA. You can still withdraw after that, but then you will get a WF, which does affect your GPA. So you might want to double check and see if there is more than one withdrawal date. April sounds like it is at the very end of the semester, so I would be surprised if you are allowed to withdraw so late without penalty.

There has been a health scare about lettuce recently. High bacteria count I think.

Susannah, I am not in the US, but I believe romaine lettuce was responsible for a large scale outbreak of some kind of food poisoning.

I never stopped eating it. We had some in fridge when stores pulled it. Never had any problems. I typically eat a salad M-F for lunch.

If you pour a lot of Hidden Valley Ranch (HVR) dressing on it, that should neutralize all the cooties. Or just the HVR will kill ya!

I was not being all that serious.
They took romaine out of our grocery stores around here - it only recently has been restocked.
