Oh yeah I almost forgot, I hired a local cleaning company to come in and deep clean my bathrooms before my mom comes on Tuesday. They schedule 2 hours at a time, so if it doesn't take them the full 2 hours on the bathrooms, I'll have them mop all the tile in the house too (not that it's that big of a house haha). Everything else I can handle, dishes, dusting, bed making etc but mopping and cleaning bathrooms is not something I'm up to right now! And I don't want my mom to feel like she has to do it for me when she's here. H is doing laundry, dishes (before I could) etc, taking care of me and working, so I haven't asked him to do the bathrooms too. he's as happy as I am to hire someone local to do it.

But ever since we talked last July about that hate letter she wrote me many-many years ago and she apologized and I told her through a lot of work in therapy I'd forgiven her, our relationship seems to be so much easier than it had been.

Just got a call from the short term disability people at work making sure I'm going back on the 27th. I'm feeling so much better I'm sure I will be. I'm glad, I'm bored silly with this resting stuff.

I need a new a/c along with half my city - so I went and got my dog a window unit because it will be about two weeks or more before we can have the central air replaced.

I regularly run into my now exT being in a largish town. We have never talked about it but ignore each other. The chances are you probably won't on a regular basis

The woman lives only 4 miles from my house and is in an area where I frequently visit friends, eat at restaurants, go to events, etc and I have never seen her out and about that I noticed.
Of course I am not certain I would recognize her and know she would not remember me, but I don't think I have been any place where she has been at the same time.
OR she really is a vampire and only skulks outside after dark

I am wondering whether to mow after my coffee but it looks like rain and my mower is half full and I dont money to fill it but I would get the backyard bit done.

Breakfast has disagreed with one of the cats, I couldn't buy there usual food and had to buy cheap stuff instead. Or maybe they need worming again

My T lives...maybe 8 miles from me? I've yet to run into him while out and about. He says he runs into clients maybe once a month (works near where he lives). That it's not a big deal. I try to mention what restaurants we frequent so at least he'd be on alert if he went there. So Scarlet, I wouldn't worry about living near your T. You need to find a place to live that works for you.

Have decided to mow the lawn well it's not lawn it's just knocking the seed heads off the weeds really.

My handsome but dumb cat is trying to work out how to get to the cat on top on the wardrobe. He watched the other cat jump up there but appears not to be able to piece things together. He is attempting to climb the curtains on the other side of the room.

when we still lived in CA we had floor-length drapes on the window in our bedroom, and my two older cats were kittens then - they would make a game of climbing all the way up the curtains to the top, I don't recall how they'd get down. I do remember the curtains being full of little holes from their claws. In our current house we don't have any curtains, just blinds. Otherwise I'm sure Penelope would already excel in climbing them if we did.

I have a dear friend going to massage school. She needed someone to practice on today, and I was free. I feel amazing.

I often feel I would benefit from a massage but my fear of touch stops me.

He is a pathetic climber climbed half way got stuck and kept looking at me to help him. He is pretty to look at though.

I went and got a massage one time a few years ago. I was so tense and nervous at first but with the calm atmosphere, candles, music etc I finally relaxed and at one point I started bawling. Weird. I haven't been back.

I think we finally locked down a place to live! It's a nice place, just a few miles from the beach. You can smell the ocean air through the canyon. We paid the deposit, so we're out $500 if my H changes his mind.
