![]() It makes sense- it's the dependency I hate the most. I'll email later asking for my session back- but I actually realise that for the past three weeks I've emailed to quit then ask for my session back the next day.

![]() Thank you for sharing. I agree. I like I random sessions and don't like committing . He wrote it in his calendar in front of me and he still forgot! But he's only done that maybe 3 times in 2.5 years and he always gives me a free session, so I'm not complaining (too much).

The first book on my summer reading this is General later President Grant’s memoirs. I’ve always heard good things about it (best Presidential memoir, stuff like that) but I admit I expected to be bored. Not at all. He somehow produces an extremely compelling narrative even if most of it is battle movements and what little personal comment he makes gives him a compelling character with a dry sense of humor.
I still have 400 or so pages to go, though. |

You do have a high tolerance for boring writing. As I recall you are the only person I have ever met who said they actually liked reading Moby D ick (stupid filter) rather than just it was a useful exercise to endure for other reasons.

One day at a time is the only way it's possible to live...
So why is it so damn difficult?

Crashing again. It was good to see Pdoc yesterday. Tried the new/old med last night. Woke up a lot in the night still but felt more rested. Got up and got my son moving and got the dogs walked which aggravated my shoulder. Nothing seems to be able to touch it so I just laid down. Discovered my sons school lets out this week not next... so I can see T Monday but have to cancel next Tuesday because my H is only home for child care Monday and Thursday. Then T is off a week. I already know he is full through the end of the month. So two weeks and no T. Not sure what will happen with work seeing as I won’t be available any hours. H promised he would have it worked out by when school let out but as usual he doesn’t. Now he feels insecure so he will start acting like a jerk. Physical pain and the attachment roller coaster on top of my son is just too much. The group home said they were going to talk with their supervisor but they never called back. Now my son is getting angry because he knows school is almost out and they have not given him his schedule for visits so he can move. At this point I think the only things worth getting out of bed for are T, Pdoc and the bathroom. I think this is my breaking point. On the up (?) side with the new meds rather than having a full blown anxiety attack in the early afternoon like I have most days for the past three years I have just had a mild steady anxiety all day... which makes me less functional but I find it easier to tolerate in the short run. Guessing H isn’t going to get up to make dinner again and I am not wrangling the grill in this heat and pain... so the expensive steaks I thought he would like will likely end up in the trash.... *sigh*

My mother had a Maltese and unless you groom them everyday or have them clipped they get super tangly.

One of my top 5 favorites. It is actually first of a trio now. The other two are okay but Pillars is in a category of its own. Last year when the third in series was released, I went to a lecture and book signing by Ken Follett. He was quite interesting and read to us. Very cool. My copy of tattered copy of Pillars is now signed. Even cooler. Enjoy it. Fascinating read.

I just finished The Warmth of Other Suns, which was fascinating, and I am on the tail end of The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry because I was alternating between the two.
Trying to decide what to read next.
