I don't like form-fitting clothes either. I have started wearing loose, flowy-type above-the-knee dresses which was a huge change for me when I first did it. L was pretty surprised since prior to that I wore really long skirts or pants all the time.

When i wear something like a jumpsuit or a swingy top over leggings, i feel like people smile at me very indulgently, like, how wonderful, a granny-age surrogate! An im settin there thinkin, no, just too many cupcakes but not much else fits. I look like James Coco - sorry, Zero Mostel - in A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To the Forum.

Eta - no wait, i just looked, i look worse than that.

Y'know the metallic rock art thing I wanna do w t? I experimented with one just now. I like.

Note: Yes, I experimented on purpose with the one thing I didn't want on the sheet of words/designs if I do take it in there....

I tried some light summer dresses on earlier in the summer and they honestly made me look much bigger. I don’t know if it was just the particular dresses I tried on. I tend to gravitate to Kohl’s for clothes shopping because they sell everything, all different styles, all different sizes and their not all that expensive. Plus they have lots of shoes and sketcher sneakers. Shoes always fit.

Forum was the first Broadway show I ever saw, original cast. I was 7. My brother and I were the only kids in the audience. I don't think* my parents really knew what the show was about.

Shaming had been my parents primary mode of discipline. I just wanted to curl up in a ball all the time. From there i went to the opposite extreme of having no shame at all, and then stayed in THAT mode most of my adult life.

Now as a senior citizen, i have new things to shame me, like peeing my pants AND farting when i sneeze. Thanks, i dont need friends IRL, i'm fine with online only!
I'm sorry you feel ashamed but just wanted to say incontinence is a very very common thing.

There's was this british show called how to look good naked, with the presenter Gok wan.

This was his channel:

YouTube

They're filming a new series after 13 years. I loved him because he wasn't about shaming the women on the show. He taught them what looked good on THEIR individual bodies.

and I think it's the same for everyone else.you have to find what you feel comfortable in.

I am really struggling with this story I need to hand in Tuesday for workshop.

It's the third draft. There was a definite improvement between the first and second drafts (almost a total rewrite since I changed persons and perspectives). This time, I feel like I'm making it worse, or boring.

I'm again working on editing the poem I shared with L last week, and I'm kinda stuck. Maybe I'll put it away and go crochet for awhile.

How can two different computers on the same OS have different update processes? I've been able to schedule the latest Windows Update on my machine, but can't do the same with my mother's. The last thing I need at the moment is a computer update.

I'm still on sensory overload from yesterday. Supposed to be going out to dinner then to a concert this evening with another couple. I sorta want to stay home and just chill out and crochet or read or something. But I'll probly go anyway.

Aww I love that!! Poppyseed is one O away from poopyseed.

I actually got that it was ME being mentioned and I did comment after reading that. My bday is coming up and it's got me putting my thinking cap on. I'm just grateful that I'm not where I was when I first started. The older I get the more me I'm becoming.

Maybe if you left it for a bit and came back to it would help.

If you aren't happy with it maybe go back to how it was before?
