Conversation with T went okay I thought. I bribed my older two kids with less chores if they helped watch the younger 2 while I was on the phone, and it worked. Talked a lot about tomorrow and how I can stay safe. I told him H bought me a bottle of alcohol last night, and T wants me to throw it away or dump it out.

One of my close friends (we met when we were roommates in inpatient) isn't doing so well and she isn't responding to my texts. I'm starting to get worried. I don't want to be annoying and she does live with her fiancé who has her therapist's number, so she can't be that bad off... though the fiancé is a bit clueless... I might just have to break down and call her.

Ah good old bribery.

I'm not going to make any comments about H, but I hope you can follow T's suggestion to get rid of the alcohol.

Can you ring them back to rearrange another time slot?

I'm actually not too worried about it. But I don't have time for this and I don't want to deal with it, and I think I am finally just good and mad about every stupid thing that's happened this year. Furious. I had a bout of angry crying in the kitchen after the boys left for their evening activities. Good and mad might stand me in good stead. I am tired of seeing the bright side of people and situations. This is absolutely flipping ridiculous.

Just sending you positive vibes and love.

I stayed 4 hours late last night - I'm catching up on hours I missed while sick.

I would just caution taking on too much to soon. You've only been back a few days and your job is very demanding.

I have just under three hours of work left before the holiday can begin. I am getting off half an hour early today because the general manager wanted to close up at 4 PM instead of 4:30 PM. So I came in early so I wouldn't lose any hours. It's cold and rainy outside and we might get snow tomorrow (unusual because I live in a desert). No one wants to be at work any longer today. We had a luncheon thing at work with chili, tacos, corn bread, and chips and salsa. So no one feels like working now. It's like, can the day just be over already?!!! The day before the holiday begins is always tough. We lose momentum after lunch. Then we are supposed to have pie at 2 PM break. I'm still full from lunch. Then definitely no one is going to want to work. So ready for it to be 4 PM and I can leave work behind for four days. Hopefully. Hopefully I don't ruminate on it. HUGS All, Kit

I did end up rescheduling with a different doctor that morning. I prefer to see mine but the medical assistant just randomly scheduled me in a slot without asking, and I dont want to reschedule pdoc again.

What always bothered me about Gilmore Girls is how the mother is basically a child with no parenting skills and the kid only turns out okay because she raises herself.

But it’s pretty good comfort TV.

Well, I'm in the ER tonight I found an abscess last night and need antibiotics and possibly draining. This sucks. And H didn't come with me. He's off doing his own "errands". I don't want to be alone during this. It's so embarrassing. I don't even know how it happened because I've been taking precautions since I'm prone to them.

I took my son to urgent care since everything is going to be closed tomorrow and I dont want to unintentionally spread the flu if he has it. But I worry that H is going to be upset and not drive because it's taking so long.

Edited to add: I was right and he does have the flu. Perfect timing.

I'm not sure my regular T did a great job of screening for suicide tonight.

She did say, do whatever you have to do to get through the weekend. I said does that include
Possible trigger:
She said whatever you have to do to stay alive. Funny thing is, I have to drive right by the hospital to get to her office. I thought about going there afterward. Really thought about it. But I came home. I told her I would go to the hospital if I got worse. She asked me if she would see me next week. I said yes but I didn't see this as making a promise. She said it would be better if I could go to a friends house instead of being at my parents. But its Thanksgiving. All my friends are either out of town or doing their family thing. How can I do that? She said she didn't know if she was that helpful tonight. I didn't know either. Not sure how the appointment went really....hugs. Kit
