Couch 221: Definitely Spam!

Can't wait for my new UGG slippers to get here but they aren't coming til Friday.

See my therapist on Saturday. I made it through being suicidal without seeing her. I'm wondering if it is getting close to time to quit therapy....hmm.

I ordered new cat combs for Esther and Amelia too. They don't really need them for the winter but they will come in handy in the Spring when they are shedding. One is mint green and the other is pink!

First day back at work. 7600 unread emails.

Saw this cute lil guy on our evening walk just now. He was playing possum at first but as we got closer and stopped to see if he was hurt, after a couple seconds he jumped up and ran over by that wall where I got a pic before he darted off again. I need to start bringing my camera, my phone doesn't take very good pics. I love watching the roadrunners in our neighborhood.

Ugh! The med lab flashed off the light just as i walked to the door. It was 2:05 on my watch which is 10 minutes fast. There was a sign that said out to lunch back at 15:45. Took me ten minutes to figure out that its gonna cost me another 100 miles / 100 bucks to get my blood tested i couldnt wait til... ... ... quarter of four.

I went to put gas in the zipcar so they dont charge me 50 bucks for returning less than a quarter tank - it was right on the line - the station didnt take their card and i almost drove away without getting my 5 bucks worth of gas!

When my gp came in the room i said hi dr fauci he goes dont call me that, thats scary!

Adventurous day. 70 degrees and beeyootiful! The air was delicious, altho i can taste bus fumes in my gums. It was soooo fun driving. I had a Toyota.

The pest guy is here. My foot was so sore this mirning i couldnt vacuum or mop. I feel bad for all the pet hair lying around. I know you shouldnt care what people think but 10 years on and still expect someone to yell and lecture me for hours and days after.

Also i ran out of bread and milk last night so i havent had breakfast and feeling a little light headed

One of h's friends just told us about the band Greta Van Fleet, we'd never heard of them before. I kinda like their music so far, h is listening in the other room it will be interesting in the background once class starts in about 15 minutes if he's still listening. They sound a good bit like Led Zeppelin.

I bought new shoes today, what a difference! I have been wearing a pair i bought over the internet they are Asics but because i cant try them on and i was depressed at the time i never sent them back because they were too small, so fter nearly a year of constant corns and not being able to walk properly i went into a store and got properly fitting ones and my feet are so thankful and so is my mood. I hadnt trealised just how painful my feet were until i got proper fitting shoes.

I need to go out and buy a new charging cable. but the stationary store i by them from is so dangerous i come out with all sorts of other things that i "might" need. Its the cheapest place to het them too.

I feel like they're going to stick me right back on the project I was on when I had my "breakdown" and I'm feeling overwhelmed. I'm supposed to talk to my boss in 45 minutes and even though we discussed this convo in session yesterday, I don't think I can tell my manager the things I need to. Reached out to my therapist this morning for support because I'm feeling really anxious and depressed about all this.

Hugs, that sounds really difficult. I hope you're able to tell your manager what you need. Could you write it down/type it? Maybe it would help to have all of it in front of you. Hope your T gets back to you.

Cried a lot today. I'm sitting down for the first time and trying to take a break.

I've never had so many topics that I've only gone through just once a long time ago that they practically look brand new.

Scared of failing though I've done so many retakes I've lost count. It's just disappointing my mother that gets me the most.

I wish I had her to give me a hug.

I just heard that our governor is closing bars, gyms, movie theaters, and water parks again for 30 days cuz cases in our state are going up.

We've also had lots of anti mask protests.

I went shopping with my aunt when I was back in London- she kicked up a huge fuss after entering one shop claiming that she had a medical exemption when I'm sure she doesn't. Left her basket full of items too after shouting in the shop. Wore a mask without complaining in another store.

Maybe only take a smaller amount of money enough to cover the cable but not buy much else.

Hugs...I think we're about to get that announcement at 5 today (governor is speaking, and some with inside info have mentioned in a Facebook group that we're going back to phase 1...we're in phase 3 now, so will be a big change).

I hope they do provide you with more support at work.

i'm trying to find the story h saw about the gov closing stuff again but i can't find it. i think he might have been reading something old.

aha i just found something that a judge decided today that it was apparently illegal for our governor to allow restaurants to sell alcohol to go.

Just as I feared. I'm basically right back in the situation at work that precipitated the disability leave in the first place.
