Airing cupboards and the like is something they never show on those UK escape to the country shows. They do show the utility room which is like a laundry here.

Anyone else hear fireworks going off outside tonight?
I guess for once I won't complain.

I love next door. Altho for some reason they havent been as much fun lately. Biggest question was where to find a turkey. Somebody posted a picture of wild turkeys just cruising the neighborhood, that was pretty funny.

Hmmm, I just realized if I put in some shelves I could have an airing cupboard.
In Asia we use clothesline and bamboo poles.

"Why waste electricity when you can air dry for free?" Is the logic.

About therapy, I believe in a blend i guess. My T pushes me to grow but she's also nurturing and warm. She sees appropriate firmness as part of her job, kinda like good parenting.

Airing cupboards are most definitely not used to dry clothes or bed sheets. We behead subjects with that kind of attitude. Airing cupboards are where we keep our already dry clothes in order to keep them warm and damp free. Clothes are dried outside on a washing line or on a clothes horse indoors, preferably wooden although the modern types like to use a plastic variation. Slovenly parties hang wet items over radiators for maximum results with minimum effort. Wet or damp items must never be placed into the airing cupboard. We are not a nation of savages and this is not a country of chaos.

Woke up feeling a lot less all-over-the-place, thank goodness. Churned out some words, now meeting a friend for brunch.

Next week, I’m going on a mini-vacation at an AirBnB on the woods without any WiFi and minimal cell service—should be fun, though I worry I’ll feel scared at night.

We had a cupboard where we dried our washed clothing. Not sure if was 100% safe, but it was above the old boiler before it was changed.

It's an old Victorian house with a cellar too.

My mother just uses the fold able racks now.

I sent my therapist an email Friday night. I really wish he would have acknowledged receipt somehow.

I'm supposed to go back to work tomorrow part time. I'm dreading it. I still don't have a complete desk. I don't know that I can concentrate well enough to get anything done. I'm afraid they're going to give me too many assignments. I worry that I've disappointed everyone. I've lost confidence in myself.

It is wet and windy here today. I dont mind wet or windy but not both, especially if i have to go out. Which i do. The pest guy is coming tomorrow. I had lots of ants but nevef realised i had a cockroach problem until my daughter said on Halloween "Mum did you put this here? For decoration" and pointed at a cockroach on the book case.

Back in the before times, at work, there was a giant plastic cockroach that would occasionally get put somewhere unexpected. It was startling to find it somewhere new.

All the way back in college, my roommate and I used to hide a rubber alligator in different spots in our apartment. Poor thing ended up in the freezer for weeks one time. She still has it and brings it along on girls weekends.
