I really don't feel good. I thought I'd feel better after giving the presentation but now I'm just listless and want to do all sorts of things that are bad for me.

Eff.

I havent taken lithium for quite a few months now and all my hair is growing back. While on lithium i only needed to shave my legs and underarms like every 6 months or so and the growth was patchy now the growth is even and fast growing. I havent had any epiodes but i am keeping my stress levels down. I really dont miss the muscle tremors that made it hard to walk i think they ( Pdocs) put it down to my cerebrwl palsy but it got significantly worse while on lithium and thenother drug they had me on. I am really wondering if was misdiagnosed and really needed medicating at all. Or maybe i was bipolar lite or whatever the less severe form that didnt need medicating.

I’m usually against early Xmas music and trees and decorations—but this year I find it acceptable. Some people need it to cheer up, I think.

Had some delicious cheesecake at 2 o'clock break at work and baclava (not sure if that is spelled correctly). We did our Thanksgiving potluck a week early since not everyone will be here next week at work.

Open enrollment for insurance today turned out to be very interesting. Every year healthcare gets more expensive and every year the company pays less and less.

I used to make honey nut rolls which was basically baklava only not as fiddly to make.

Baklava with a c is fine but there is always a danger people will think you are eating a balaclava, a head and shoulder hood.

Hey Artie, if you're still into making lentils in a big batch, you might try this recipe for Coconut Curry Lentils. We made it in the Instant Pot for dinner today, and it was even better than I expected. Don't forget the coconut milk, though!

I have no problem with people listening to it through their own headphones.
I am not a big holiday person in general. I don't decorate or anything. We did when I was growing up and it was fine - just not my thing. My poor mother did try but I was not having it.

My t's full rate is $250 (phd). My younger brother's t's (phd) rate is $300.

I'm on sliding scale because $250 is literally 10 weeks of groceries.

My mom decorates a ridiculous amount for Christmas (well, less so in past few years). She has these Analee cloth dolls with hand-painted faces and bendable arm she collected, most of which were Christmas-themed. So there was like a 3-foot Santa and Mrs. Claus and a big reindeer, a bunch of smaller elves, reindeer, and other creatures. It was probably more than 50 of them in all that would take over the living room.

Plus a small tree in living room with all of these figurines under it. And the big tree in the basement with ornaments covering every inch of it. And some other stuff around the house (a toilet lid cover with Santa on the top, then when you lift the lid, he's covering his eyes). About a dozen Christmas mugs, the list goes on... Christmas towels...

Meanwhile, we do a tree, and that's basically it.

Going on another date with this guy after class tonight. Hope it goes okay.

I’m a tiny bit worried since the date isn’t till 9pm and I have T at 7am, and since this guy is a beer expert we’re liable to drink a bit... though I dunno, maybe being hungover for therapy would improve the experience...

Augh. We're reading a chapter from book about CSA for my fellowship, a book that T also recommended I read a number of months ago but I haven't gotten through yet because I can only take in a little at a time without getting dissociative. It's messing with my head.

I ordered something off Etsy that shipped from Chicago. I live on the west coast. According to the USPS tracking information, my package is currently in Hawaii. Why??

I've been waiting two weeks for this package. It's hopefully going to be part of the gift I want to make to give to my therapist at our last session. I hope it arrives soon.

Ugh, that sucks--hope it arrives on time! Does that Etsy store allow returns? If so, maybe consider ordering a new one to be safe?

USPS has really sucked lately though. Many of my packages have made a tour of the area before arriving here. In this one FB group I'm in, someone said their package was shown as arriving at the local hub, then went off to Guam...(no, they don't live in Guam). Priority Mail used to take 2 or 3 days to get to me depending on where it's coming from (I'm East Coast), but now it can take up to a week...I imagine it will only get worse closer to the holidays.

I mailed the two packages I need to mail for friends for Christmas yesterday. They are going slow mail. Arriving around the 28th of November. I don't care. It was like $5 and $7 to ship them. As long as they arrive by Christmas! Friends live in DC and NC. I did send each of them the tracking info so they could keep track of it. Although I ordered a key chain for my 18 y/o nephew who is going to be getting his license for part of his stocking and supposedly USPS tried to deliver on the 12th. Um. Should fit in the mailbox, it's a key chain. There have been no updates since then on the USPS site. I'm like. Uh.........may have to contact Amazon, or it might be less stress just to order another one, it wasn't that much money.
