Thanks for this. I don't ever want to completely terminate with L either. We had reduced frequency to every 2 weeks in early Feb, and I had been feeling pretty good about it, even with texting her this past Tuesday I realized right when I did it, that I had the tools to be able to sit with the stuff til Friday. I just wasn't using them. But then the stuff I've been working on lately that we talked about on Friday caused her to say that clinically her opinion was that I should go back to weekly to accelerate the 'work'. I guess I should ask her what is the goal here, what is the endgame, whatever. I need to know concretely what we're working toward because I am not sure we are working toward the same thing anymore.

I agree with LT that it should be your goals. I recently sent my T an email asking what's her treatment plan (as she's a clinical psych and I still have impairing symptoms) and her goals for me and she said therapy is about MY goals. And that goals can shift and change.

I finally finished the pineapple booties! It took me a long time to get around to doing the 2nd one because the dark green yarn really does a number on my poor old eyes. But they are done now. I hope my friend likes them! They're for her soon-to-arrive granddaughter. SO fun to make, the gold part anyway. If I make any more pairs, I will use a lighter color green for the leaves.

I can actually follow this one. When i saw the Anthony Hopkins one, all i remember is that my butt actually got sore sitting in the old movie seat and i made the joke that it was really called "Howard Never Ends" for literally decades after. And it had Crispin Bonham Carter and James Trilby in it!!!

I like Helena Bonham Carter. She was in the M/I version.
I am (was? Are they still making movies?) as much of a fan of Merchant Ivory films as I am of any film. I could at least sit through their movies and understand what was going on - and sometimes there was wit.
I was surprised to find that Tracy Ullman was in the pbs version.

Tracy was pretty good in the role! Its somewhat a comic role, but she played it quite seriously, which made it outstanding. Yet still within the ensemble.

I don't think I said anything about HBC's hair. I don't generally notice hair.
