Hugs, Kit. I imagine the stress of meeting with your T and your parents. I hope the medication helps.

Thank you willowtigger and LT. I caught the migraine pretty early on so the medicine is helping already.

I like chicken tikka on a sandwich (the best I had was in a London railway station). But potatoes in general are just bland and fried they are greasy and bland. I really don't like french fries for the most part. Every 6 or 8 months I want a baked potato -but other than that no potato for me. Adding bread to bland is not my favorite =but I am happy to give my potato portion to others.
I am a giver.

It is nice to have one's own space back and new furniture

Somewhat eerily, one of my characters in a forthcoming short story waxes lyrical about a chicken tikka masala panini he had at Paddington Station.

(Based on a chicken tikka masala panini I once had that I still remember, but not at Paddington Station.)

That is because potatoes do not belong on a sandwich

After sitting with it for some time, I HATE my new PCP. He was opinionated and domineering and made a lot of assumptions (i.e. I'm not compliant with my meds; H and I drink, eat out a lot, and eat a lot of red meat). He also refused to work with L. But I have no strength left in me to find a new doctor. I guess the good news is I'll only see him twice a year and he's giving me all the referrals I've asked for. It's my new Pdoc I'm now worried about. I really hope she's as good as her reviews are: 90 reviews at 4.9 stars... I'll see her on August 22nd.

potato and pasta? good god what new horror have you revealed and I can never now unknow.

i'm trying to think if I've ever even had potato bread. But as the potato is being used as an ingredient To make the bread rather than to go on the bread I think I would just think of it as bread rather than bread and potatoes. I do know that for gluten-free mixes sometimes it is suggested to put in a tablespoon or two of potato flour to help texture

I'm sorry, Scarlet. If you only have to see him twice a year, maybe just tolerate it for now, then look for a new one when you're feeling stronger?

I hope your pdoc works out. That's a really high rating, considering she has so many reviews. People mainly tend to post doctor reviews when they're upset about something, so that suggests to me that she's really good.

I'm sorry about your PCP Scarlet. It's so hard to find good doctors. I would be encouraged by the Pdoc's ratings. That is really high! Hopefully that appointment will go well. How are you feeling today? HUGS Kit

Hi LT! Thanks for asking. H is feeling much better, he finally tested negative and is going back to work today. I'm still feeling fine, thankfully. I haven't tested a 2nd time (I tested negative 5 days after my initial exposure to him the day he woke up sick and started isolating) so I'll probably test one more time just to be sure, now that he's negative.
