Thanks for the smile, Artie.

I love the idea of making a snowman in the birdbath.
Much easier on your back and knees than bending down.

I bought clothes for pleasure for the first time in a long time today.

Introducing...panda pyjamas.

I didn't even think of that, that it was easier than bending down... I should have at my age haha! I had already started work when I noticed it had snowed, so I only had a minute to run outside and make it haha.

I love the pandas. I bought myself 3 new shirts recently I very rarely buy clothes too, working at home like I do no one sees me so why bother. All this overtime I'm working, I decided to spend some $ on myself!

Session with L was good. We started with check-in. We did breathing while holding hands. We did a question and answer (one of our favorite artists). Then we started making a list of all the reasons to live. Little Luna was a pain today. I forgot her leash and she figured out how to take her diaper off. The she climbed all over L and started eating her hair...lol. It was a good laugh, but sometimes laughing just doesn't feel in-sync with the mood of the day.

I have my next session with L on Friday. I think I can make it until then.

Hugs, Scarlet, I'm glad it was a good session and I hope the laughing, even if it felt out of sync at the time, left a little bit of good feeling you can hold onto until Friday.

H is leaving tomorrow morning for a few days, he and his friend are driving to CA for their rotisserie baseball league winter meeting. It's h's turn to be commissioner this year, meaning he'll have to enter all of the moves everyone makes all season and handle disputes and stuff. I'm looking forward to a quite house while he's gone, and I'm going to spend some time after work tomorrow gathering up all the paperwork of various ilks that is overtaking the house again. I have a big empty tub I'm gonna dump it all in and then plop myself down in front of the tv with the tub and a glass or two of wine and sort through it all, hopefully shredding and/or putting in recyle bin most of it! Then Friday morning I get my hair cut! Yay! I've had it all different lengths as an adult, but it's been a while since it's been really short and I can't wait.

I reached out to T and J (L's colleague) today. It was reassuring to hear back from them. Helps remind me that I'm not so alone.

I'm still really depressed about where I'm at in my life AND I feel relief from not having the urges right now.

Thank you all for the support and hugs. It really does mean a lot to me. It helps a lot!

I'm in a fantasy baseball league, too, but it's not rotisserie (unless that's another term for a keeper league, but I don't think it is). I somehow won it last year! Despite not being nearly as knowledgeable about baseball as football.

Rotisserie is categories, scoring is done by stats like ERA or RBI, and the team who has more RBI at the end of the week or lower ERA wins that category for the week. Whoever wins more categories is the winner.

Head to head is points for each individual achievement—usually six points for a home run, 10 for a pitcher’s win, and whichever team has the most points at the end of the week wins.

Both can be keeper or dynasty leagues. Both are fantasy leagues.

Rotisserie is so named because its founders met at a restaurant called La Rotisserie Francaise to play.

I gave up both my keeper leagues this past offseason, one rotisserie, one points, because I was losing the interest in minor league baseball that long-term success in the format requires. Maybe when the season starts I’ll try a free single-season league.

Ah, I see, thanks for the explanation! Interesting about how it was named. I thought maybe rotisserie referred to rotating/switching players each season (like the fantasy football leagues I'm in), like a rotisserie chicken rotating as it cooked...

I haven't been sleeping well of late. But last night I took some anxiety medicine before bed and I slept gloriously! I didn't want to get up. I didn't get up until 5:30 AM and work starts at 6:30 AM. (Technically I have to be here no later than 7 but I like to start work at 6:30 AM.) Thank goodness I got my shower last night so I didn't have tons to do this morning. Made it to work on time and have been able to get some stuff done at work which makes me feel good.

Kit just a question, but do you get paid for starting work earlier? Or does it just help to finish earlier?

It's complicated. But usually at some point in the pay cycle I need to leave early for a doctor's appointment or like right now I have physical therapy on Tuesdays and I leave a half an hour earlier than normal. So, I use the time that I come in early to make up the time that I have to leave early. I usually have extra time at the end of the pay period from coming in early that I don't get paid for, but I don't really mind. I like having some time in the mornings in the office before the phones start ringing and people get here and things get crazy to get myself organized. I don't know if it helps my ADHD but it seems to.

Ah okay. Was just trying to see if you could get that extra time in bed more regularly.

Thought of a few questions I would like to ask the new potential therapist on Monday. I wrote them down so I won't forget. I am trying to be as prepared as possible.
